Did any of you experience any significant decrease in USA traffic the past few days (from the Thursday onwards and continuing today) without any apparent ranking changes or penalty?
Related question: Did you see any unusual ranking changes during this time frame?
I believe something is up but not sure what. My traffic is massively down (like 20%-30%) since Friday but no major ranking decrease or penalty.
Yes end of month payday for 2015... everyone is out and about spending after xmas, Also my NFL traffic was down as every single site in the USA was writing about it including local news sites that have more authority.. I got pretty much wiped out for SuperBowl
Yep there has been a decrease in overall traffic but targeted traffic / keywords still seem the same . My alexa rankings are down big time, but my rankings for targeted keywords are good, and things are converting.Quote:

I saw a slight drop in affiliated traffic from around the 7th of the month. Lasted a few days and seemed to pick up again.
That did coincide with the release Google made to counteract doorway pages. Might be just coincidence though?
