Last question about geotargetting, I promise!... (maybe) :D
The software I'm using to geotarget my banners allows the adverts to be shown on other websites via an iframe. Can I stick this code on another site, or will the programs get shirty that it isn't coming from the site it was intended for?
I know that in an ideal world I would have different tracking codes for each site, but I feel that the geotargetting is more of a benefit than the individual site reporting.
I really can't see any affiliate programs having a problem with this, tell me if I am wrong other affilliate managers

I used joomla, so the software I'm using is actually a plug in developed by iJoomla called Ad Agency: http://adagency.ijoomla.com/
It's actually meant as a platform for selling adverts, with advertisers signing up and buying packages, but also has a geotargetting feature. I bought it to use for it's intended purpose on another site but it has a GNU licence so figured why not do what I normally do and refuse to use things in the manner they were intended :D
Seems to work well - you create "zones" for adverts and each zone can be loaded anywhere with an iframe. Worth checking out if you use joomla.
We allow banners to be used across multiple sites.
I used to use PhpAds back in the day, but I think OpenX is its new reincarnation. I ended up dropping it, wasn't robust enough.
Downloaded the MaxMind database, setup it up on MySQL, wrote the 10-20 lines of code to decipher the IP to country.. attached a banner to the countries... and done!
