When it comes to Netflix, I recommend the original movies where you can watch the other side of superheroes like Superman. I think it's called "the boys".
Many Netflix deals with dark heroes.

Did you watched The Umbrella Academy? Not bad, as for me
I'm not sure whether you mean Japanese shows specifically or whether some are shown in Japan with subtitles or dubbed....
But if you've never watched Breaking Bad you may well find it entertaining. House Of Cards is another one, though not quite in the same league.
Abandoned this one after watching most of the first season. Kept waiting for it to pick up and it just never did...Quote:

It is hard to advise. Anime is too broad term. Also I do not have netflix, because I watch only anime and it is better to pirate it.
I did not see one bad gambling anime. Japan knows what the gambling is about. It is not the Hollywood bullshit boom, boom, supersmart hero gets all the money and some wh0re as a bonus.
The ones I remember:
Kaiji
Akagi
Shoubushi Densetsu Tetsuya
The first and the last are about what the gambling really is about. Weaknesses of souls, good math, cheating. It is all about psychology.
Akagi is different. It is not that complex. It has just one idea that is very true (and which repeats accross other anime even the cooking one like Shokugeki no Souma): if you are not gambling with all you have, you will lose, because you know you can afford to lose. In fact this is also the best investment strategy. Diversifying a portfolio never made anyone rich.
But I have no idea whether this is on Netflix.
『Money Heist』is interesting on Netflix.
You may have seen it because it is famous.
Wentworth is always my favourite that I also recommend. Now working through Grace & Frankie.
Yeah Breaking Bad is good as hell. Also, I can recommend Deadwood

Well worth a watch on Netflix - WWII in colour, breaking bad, better call saul, ragnarok, cobra kai. I have also just started watching LOTR tv series on amazon.
I am busy watching Devil in Ohio - I am two episodes in and it seems like it will be good
I recommend these, I hope you like them:
- Ozark.
- Breaking bad.
- The Sandman
It is not in Netflix but one of the few animations I would recommend anyone to see is Invincible, I think it's only in Amazon Prime but it is definitely a good one. Cool story with its own superman-like guy and his son who is learning how to use his power and trying to live up to the legend of his father.
