Question 🤔 Do you know that the right choice of GEO determines the success of your betting ca

Itís very important to analyze the sports preferences of the GEO before selecting it. For example, if itís Europe, then football will come first, if it's India, it will be cricket, and baseball is popular in Japan. The Nordic countries are very fond of hockey. Esports are most popular in developed countries.

To help you out, we've prepared a combination of popular sports and GEOs 🌏
⚽ Football: Germany, France, the UK, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Spain, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Thailand, Kenya, Algeria, Colombia.
Cricket: India, Pakistan, Australia, England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, the West Indies, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe.
🏀 Basketball: the USA, Canada, China, Japan, Philippines, Italy, Turkey, Germany, France, Brazil.
🏒 Hockey: Canada, the USA, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Germany.
🎾 Tennis: France, Germany, Italy, the UK, China, Brazil, India, Mexico, Canada, Spain, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, the Netherlands, South Africa, Australia.
🎮 eSports: the USA, Canada, European countries, China, Singapore, South Korea.

Consider all these facts when you choose a GEO for your betting campaign to get the most out of it 💪🏻

I had not long time ago discussion on Reddit with one guy who was exactly complaining about a post like this. With a shallow info or how to call it and how this cancer is becoming widespread. In the end we do not know who is producing it and why. Is it AI? Some copywriting SEO test? Or is the person that... sure... that this is a real information that will help to someone? I am afraid the latest option is very probable. Then this is the end of civilization quite likely.

No need for any SEO tools, pure common sense can be used to determine what country favours what.

    No ****, Sherlock.

The SEO I mean something else. The article with a ballast value might be some kind of the SEO schema itself. Just a conspiracy theory based on pure desperation.

Sherlock, I understand what in your mind. However, my post was for gil.langelan, as he mentioned that such information can be gathered with SEO tools.

Regarding the types of posts she makes, I think the goal is to engage with people and bring new customers to their company. It's actually very similar to the one PlayAttack posts, but they go more in-depth about a particular topic on their site.

With experience, some people used to know all this naturally, while for other readers, it completely new.

Believe me, there is no conspiracy theory here We just came on this forum and we publish our material so we can understand people's reactions. You never know which post will be liked by the audience and which will not.
Now we have got a good feedback from you and it's very good! What issues would you like to discuss?

You got our strategy right We may not be as good at it yet, but either way we watch people's reactions and read all the comments to keep writing the right information

And yes, this post was written for beginners who don't have much experience yet

Yes, it is the same thing.

Either it is unnecessary or it is necessary and we are all getting retarded. I can not imagine an affiliate who does not know the obvious or who is not able to do his own research. I imagine that that retarded person can never gain significant traffic.

But I am not in contact with younger generation, both professionally and as a customer. I still have doubts that affiliate marketer that can not google simple things can have success.

On the top I am not sure whether affiliate program that is providing shallow and misleading info can be successfull. How can be USA mentioned without NFL/us football that is the main selling point there? Hockey in Poland? Sure it is being played even in Brazil and maybe someone is betting on it there, but... the article is totally lacking in depth analysis. It is nearly a random list of countries and sports attached to it.

What is the point to persuade the retarded affiliate with lucky traffic to promote tennis in the USA or basketball in Brazil?

    To Sherlock,

Hehe, yeah Poland is in the wrong aisle.

I'm not in sports betting, but i guess one of the tricks here to make money is to find a country where people bet on a certain type of sports that is not obviously related to their country. A prime example can be China because thinking logically you would never say that they like basketball unless you do research.

This means, instead of offering US players to bet on NBA games, where competition is super high, a better option would be to offer it to the Chinese (this is just an example).

By doing analysis, casinos should be able to determine such countries or in other words; secret GEO's.

So if she could turn her list around, and provide a list of countries that is worth targeting with a certain type of sport, instead of where and which sport is popular, that would be spot-on.

And don't forget newbies, pros, techies, writers, thinkers, followers, leaders, dedicated, browsers, lurkers, helpful, and more....

But I think the original post was a decent conversation starter. Certainly not anything new, but a reminder to simply know your market and audience before you get started.

Exactly. But then this is completely a different league, actually the opposite of OP post.

For example outstanding Canadian SIA affiliate manager once told me that instead of NHL that I was promoting there as default I sould focus on NFL, because NFL is a primary channel even in Canada (maybe except some hardcore hockey cities). Ok, that was really a news for me and I highly appreciated that info.

But I think the original post was a decent conversation starter. Certainly not anything new, but a reminder to simply know your market and audience before you get started.
For me that post was offensive and even worse - I know now that the OP even does not know that. And I am probably not the only one.

Because what is the business about? Going to the core, trying to connect the knots, trying to figure out which info the other people do not have and convert it into money. I expect my partners to have this feeling under the skin. When they do not have it, it is impossible to do a business. When they force me into this **** I went nuts.

It is not just an affiliate marketing. It is everywhere. Rn lawyers from some country where I do research for years = 1000s of hours spent with real people in terrain, figuring out how things work, paying money for the research. Then some wiseass lawyer from city wants to give me lessons how to buy some rural property in region where he never was and his advices are exactly what no one has to do here. The post of the OP is similar. Not helpful to veterans, not helpful to newbies.

What we want is simple: we want transparent affiliate programs that do not steal. That is all, that is f****** all we need. If they want to draw attention, let they publish how much they pay. Let they pay the RS we agree about. Let their creatives work. Let they know us which regions they work at and where is their focus. They can do updates all the time and I will love them if they spend 99% of time with that topic. The 1% rest can be a smalltalk how many times I wash my balls in a year or whatever.

This post is in the “CyberBet Affiliates” forum and perfectly fine for a new person just getting started or simply contemplating becoming an affiliate. By no means is it a revelation of any sort.

If the post was done by a member, it would certainly belong in the newbie forum. But these people paid good money to be a sponsor and should be able to post whatever kind of “fluff” they want without being jumped on.

But by now, this and other sponsors should be alert to the fact that there are a lot of seasoned professionals reading these posts and don't necessarily appreciate their time being “wasted” with basic “do you know” stuff.

That being said, I for one would like some actual beneficial information and real tips, strategies or tech issues that I might not be aware of as a non-newbie non-pro user . But then posts like that have also been “blasted”.

I would also be much more appreciative if they would spend their time on writing some unique content that I can use for free. But the post that we are discussing here probably has a much better time/benefit ROI.

Publicly offering affiliates "unique content" they can use for free means that 1 day later the "unique content" is used on dozens of sites and is no longer unique.

Oh, you know I mean in case when you don't now a lot of about the specific country. Fo example if people from India want to work with German site. But they a newbies in the industry. So in this situation it's very easy to use a tool to see the search volume of each kind of sport or etc and make a conclusion. Or in case if you don't like sports at all and don't interesting in reading\watching news about it.

I was referring to content written specifically for one affiliate and delivered privately by message or email- certainly a lot more effort on their part than making one post in a forum or adding one banner to their media.

I already belong to enough aff programs. But if "seduced" with a free uniquely written article I would be tempted to try another.
