As 2022 draws to a close, it is a good time to reflect on how your affiliate business has changed over the last year, and how you expect it will evolve over the coming year.
For this week's poll, I ask a simple question. Are you operating more websites or fewer websites at the end of calendar year 2022 than you were operating at the end of calendar year 2021?
In addition to answering the poll, I invite you to post about the sites you added or removed from your portfolio this year and why
Speaking for myself, I am operating two sites more than a year ago. Both are strategic sites, although both of the new sites are in their very early stages, with substantial work left before I really want to even tell people about them. So, in many ways it is premature for me to even say they exist.
CasinoCity.TV This site will become the home of many hundreds of videos we have produced, both weekly slot game review videos, and weekly gaming industry news videos both of which we have been produced over the past decade, but which have never before been collected together in one place under the Casino City Brand. The site is in a very early prototype stage as we have really only focused on the back-end infrastructure for the site thusfar, and have not yet focused on the site itself or on loading more than a very small subset of the videos (40 so far out of more than ten times that many).
iGamingNews.com We acquired this domain a decade ago, and well over 10,000 news articles covering the early years of the online gaming industry that were historically hidden behind a paywall. This year we have finally begun to build the bones of a resurrected version of the site, and have exposed all of the previously hidden content to Google. But, we have not yet worked on either organizing or presenting the content well. We plan put in the effort to turn it into an impressive site in the coming year.
