Question Do you prefer the digital or print version of the GPWA Times Magazine?

Earlier today I posted that Issue 44 of the GPWA Times Magazine in the following post: GPWA Times Magazine issue 44 now available online and at iGB Live! and AAC next week! And right after my post GPWA Member allaboutthebets replied "Look forward to receiving it in the post."

That made me wonder about print versus online magazine readership. A little over six years ago I asked folks about their general views of reading digital versus print publications. You can see that poll here: Do you prefer reading print or digital publications?

Personally, I like reading the print edition of the magazine more. But I also like the online version, although more when I am searching for content across issues. If I want to check over an interview with a particular affiliate, or see if we have interviews with affiliates located in a particular geographic location, I wouldn't even consider trying to find it by thumbing through past issues of the magazine.

So, for this week's poll I'd like to find out what folks think about the digital versus the print edition of the GPWA Times Magazine. Besides voting in the poll, be sure to share your thoughts about the reasons for your preferences in a post. And, if you have any suggestions, they are, of course, most welcome.

Of course, if you would like to receive the print version, and don't currently, all you need to do is subscribe and we will be pleased to mail your copies as they are published. Under "My Account" in the top navigation, simply select "My Magazine Subscriptions" and fill in the required information (you can update your address or unsubscribe that way as well).

I like a paper version, it's my holiday read on the plane or by the pool. It's just not the same on a PDF. A bit like a kindle and a real book

    I like the paper version.
The online version looks nice, but is more or less unreadable for me on my 24'' screen. I might read it if it was just in a normal format as other websites/newspapers are, and if you would cancel the paper version.

I definitely prefer the print version also because it's easier to read and I can take it anywhere I want to. Especially on trips. I also personally find it to be more interactive. It's a good idea to also keep the online version as a backup and alternative source.

I've never been a fan of digital magazines. I prefer a paper version that I can read while i'm drinking my coffee in the morning

I'd prefer not to receive a paper version. If I'm reading a digital version I can do other things in between because I have my eyes on the screen. If I'm reading a physical magazine I can't multi-task, which just ends in me never reading it.

My only issue with the paper version is that it will now be 2/3 months at least before it has arrived by which time most stuff can be irrelevant. At least the digital version is available now

I've never liked digital magazines, but it is faster to get to them that way.
Also it's nothing better than paper book, or magazine in your hands.
    That's just my humble opinion.

Definitely prefer paper than digital version. You have more focus on what your reading.

Interesting poll I must say, I prefer print but also think it's good to have it online...
From some reason I only find myself reading the print version and was never even once read the online version, the print is accessible, within reach and much more fun to read in general.. but maybe it's only..

I agree! Print version is more engaging. But I don't mind if GPWA Magazine goes full-on digital mode if that's gonna save the trees.
