Default Do you promote affiliate programs of other industries?

Since we are the Gambling Portal Webmasters Association, nearly all of the discussions within the GPWA forum are about iGaming related matters. But, of course, the online gambling/casino industry is not the only one out there where affiliates can make a living. Some of the other more popular affiliate niches include beauty, fashion, pets, fitness and self-improvement.

How about you? Do you promote just gambling-related programs, or are you promoting other industries. If you are not gambling only, please provide details on which other industries you are involved in and how successful they have been for you.

Since the online gambling affiliate industry has been going downhill for quite some time now, with programs closing, turning rogue, affiliates selling their sites, etc, I've been seriously considering branching out into non-gambling affiliate programs. I'm thinking of putting together a crypto exchange review site which would enable me to promote crypto exchanges using my affiliate link. I could also sell a range of crypto wallets, etc. I'm not sure if the effort will be worth it, but I will make a start and see how it pans out.

I'm believing in focus so promoting exclusively gambling-related programs.

I’ve only ever been promoting online casinos since I started in this industry some 15 years ago now.

If you have a passion for another vertical, then you'd probably success. But, if your only motivator is making "cash", then a fake is easily spotted.

If you distract yourself with other industries, then the success might not be the same as if you have focussed on one nice. In Our case - gambling.

Even with all the regulation gambling affiliation will be profitable enough for people who know hot to strive for success and earn good not only for living

I've tried in the past with a few other industries, but never had a good results. Probably, I didn't choose the right niche (saturated, and with high competition), but for the last few months it's just gambling related stuff.

I mostly promote casinos and a tiny bit betting. Also have a site for crypto currencies, the volume was crazy good at the end of 2017 but have been dropping ever since. Anyway its nice to have something else on the side as well, as I find crypto very interesting.

    My site only introduces gambling.
I think introducing Affiliate programs from other industries is not got for SEO

We have promoted other affiliate industries in the past but they can be a distraction from our core gaming programs.

    Totally agree,
Promoting other things can distract from the main business.

Same here, I'm looking for opportunities in other industries but have not decided or tried anything else yet.
