Question Do you promote or play online video poker?

In land-based casinos video poker is fairly popular, and there are many players who understand the odds playing the different variants of video poker, and believe it offers better entertainment value than many other games offered in an casinos.

A half a year ago I posted a poll asking about whether or not folks "promoted or played online scratch or instant win cards?" So, for this week's poll I thought I would ask a similar question about video poker.

Do you play it yourself, either online or in land-based casinos? And do you promote it now, or do you plan to in the future?

Apparently "pokies" are the most addictive form of short term gambling out there ... both online and in real-life?
Certainly there is plenty of lobbying against them down here in New Zealand and in Australia.

As regards promotion - we don't specifically promote the games but they're prevalent at all online casinos.
I've never played them for real money - a couple of play spin sessions showed me how -EV they were.

To be honest, I don't play video poker, although I did try it couple of times, but not for real money.
As lot's of casinos have it in their portfolio, I believe it's something that you will promote anyway.

Reiterating Gooner's comment... "pokies" (slots) are huge, so I don't promote any other games.

As far as playing though... When I could play at Microgaming (32Red), my biggest wins have come from Video Poker, namely, Double Double Bonus Poker. One session that stands out... practically back-to-back (5 hands separation) threw 2 Royal Flushes @ $25 a hand, earning a cool US$40K.

    Got to love that

I dont promote any videopoker online, as we dont really promote any specific games. But to me they are really fun to play. Mainly play them myself on the landbased casinos and have had a few nice winnings there .

Playing "pokies" on land-based casinos is a great fun, Just wasting some time and cash left. U try to recongnize the diffetence between online and offline experience.

land-based are definitely better - you see the thrill of other players surrounding you definitely

Had some video poker offers, but mostly focused on slots these days. Never fount it interesting to play, unlike land-based poker, but AussieDave's comment got me interested haha.
