Dom announces GPWA sale at B2G

I guess Dom wants to have the jump on GPWA in releasing the story, but it would probably help if she had her facts straight. I hope that people reading Dom's posts anywhere have realized by now that they can only rely on a small fraction of them to be true.

The only item that's correct in this post (as it pertains to GPWA) is that Casinoglen is the PROPOSED buyer. John may have additional corrections to add here. The sale has not yet been officially approved or announced; when it is, GPWA will be making an official announcement.

Yes, there is a buyer!

Most of the offers were in the 10 to 15k range - but one offer is $40,000!

The happy bidder is known as Casino Glen, or Glenn Burnie, or John Derrosset, GPWA team leader.

The vote is still going on, but with an outcome of 70 -6-3 it seems to be a done deal.

I didn't see it at WOL, but I did just now.

To reiterate what I stated earlier in the week - Dominique aka Annette Hartman, has no authorization whatsoever to be posting anything about GPWA anywhere; nor does she even have access to the correct information. Her motives are obvious.

None of the numbers she disclosed up there are correct and I would suspect she made them up. No one but John and I know the actual number, and it will stay that way permanently.

Yes Cindy and I and my wife have reached an agreement on the purchase of GPWA. $40,000? Nah. Not close, but a good guess, as the site and domain combined have been appraised at somewhere near that value.

Trying to outbid? No. Just offered what I would be able to make good on, in a reasonable period of time.

We are flattered and and impressed to be receiving all this attention. Let's see, somethings on the other boards..... I may pop around the net and have a look, but I usually don't frequent the other message boards very often, but since I am becoming so popular, I just may go have a look.

I, like Cindy, will not disclose the actual amount that will exchange hands for this website. That is not public information, and therefore, concerns no one but myself, Cindy and Marlene.

Suffice it to say that it was an amount agreeable to all parties involved.

For those of you that have offered your support in this transition, I thank you. I indicated that I wanted the structure to stay as is. Many of you have send me PMs asking to stay on helping, and of course that's the way I want it to be. NO ONE will be removed from any thing that they have volunteered to do, unless of course you no longer want to do it. I personally like things as they are. So, 'nuff said. Everyone have a great day!

$40,000 seems a bit too low. I'd take $1,000,000. Why are you selling? Too much work?

I don't think I would want to ever sell my Casino Portals because of the future asking price. 10 to 20 years from now, my portals my be worth 10s of millions of dollars.
