Majority of mail.ru user accounts compromised as Russian hacker hands over millions of email passwords.
I am not sure how long these email credentials have been handed out, but if you have a mail.ru email account, 89% of the accounts have had their usernames and passwords handed out freely....well I mean the hacker wanted to be liked.....

In addition some users of other mail services like gmail, yahoo and hotmail may also want to consider a password change.
Should you worry?
Well only 272 million unique email addresses and passwords were on the total list.
My biggest problem with this is, the hacker user "the collector" as he was known, did this for kudos on his social media page, which means his true identity is known and should be exposed.
I am sure more of his hacker buddies with congratulate him, as Google, Microsoft and others will now want to figure out a way to prosecute him and certainly Interpol should know the identity.
Also, the folks at mail.ru can not be real happy since what if anyone at the Kremlin, russian banks or other corporate guys might have had breached accounts too.
