EOG.com owner Ken Weitzner dead at 53

There were Internet rumors throughout the weekend that EOG.com owner Kenneth Weitzner had been killed. Nothing was confirmed until today, when an obituary for Weitzner and his wife Jackie were published in The Virginian Pilot.

The cause of death isn't mentioned in the obituary, but rumors say that both Weitzners committed suicide.

"Ken and Jackie Took their own lives. sleeping pills and carbon monoxide (most likely) is what killed them they were found saturday morning. I say this in confidence because i knew both of the weitzners i also live in chesapeake and had known both of them for years. They were found in his office bathroom by their cleaning lady."

How sad. I wrote for him at the Rx at the same time as Sting and just before Amateur.
