Almost a quarter of a million dollars in winning wagers, losses to the book, because of an error in published start times.
RickESPN reports that the bets were allowed to be placed because incorrect start times were published for a number of Korean and Chinese baseball games due to a manual entry error.

This happens more than people think, In Nevada the times are entered manually by sportsbook employees. If they key it wrong or if a game time is changed and they do not adjust it then the word will get around fast in Vegas of a bad line at one of the books.
The gaming commission will usually side with the bettor and tell the casino to pay. But, the casinos will also tell the bettor than if he cashes the ticket then he is banned from sports betting at that property for life.
