eTraffic Report: Online casino affiliate hacked into U.S. universities

Interesting story from eTraffic regarding "a mind-boggling discovery involving Google, a gambling site and prestigious universities in the U.S., including some Ivy League ones."

How the hell did he/she/ they pull it off? How does one go about something like that, completely under the radar, without being caught, or at least exposed? . . . Most likely it’s a hacking job. A meticulous one no doubt, but a hacking job nonetheless. And if you’re thinking, why would anyone devote so much work, or pay someone, to plant online slots links, have another look at the table in the top of the post; it’ll refresh your memory on the kind of money that is rolling and spinning in the online gambling industry. So, Google can still be manipulated using black hat techniques.

And what's surprising with it?
Since many years many well know programs and representatives are working together with this scum and took or take the money like 888 or AffPower.
Yes, YOU say nothing, the guys who are making with them party and high-five in some weeks again on the conferences.
Also with people, who have had or still have an active GPWA account like this professional criminals Fernanda or Clara.

Universities?
You must put schools, kindergarten, hospitals and residential- und nursing homes on the list.
But the months this happened, no one - I repeat: NO ONE HERE yelled: "OMG this must be stopped!"
In the meantime I don't care about your contracts with the programs to be silent to everything and that you are only allowed to say positive things about anything and everybody.
Either you have character or not.

The universities have not ONLY been hacked for links etc.

A number of university systems are also used to launch brute force attempts on others around the world.

And NO ONE ever wants to talk about that.
