    Default Everest and Imperial Brand Closure

    Just got this email now
    Dear affiliate,

    We would like to inform you that, due to changes in our current Business strategy, we have decided to proceed with the termination of all our Poker products for the Betclic.com and Expekt.com brands, as well as the full extent of the brands Everest Poker, Everest Casino and Imperial Casino.

    As such, we ask you to, please, remove any brand communication, banners, textlinks and similar, for the above-mentioned product and brands.

    The access to the websites of the above mentioned brands and product are now limited and customers may only access their accounts for the purpose of withdrawals.

    If you have any queries in regards to the above, please, do not hesitate to contact the affiliation team via affiliate@beaffiliates.com or through our form on http://beaffiliates.com/?page_id=10350/#contact-us.

    3.7.1 Right to Exclude All Marketing or Player Activity in a Jurisdiction
    We may close a market and all or some player accounts in that jurisdiction for legal, business or any other reason whatsoever. In this event, we will pay commissions on all Active Player activity, up to the point the player account is closed. Once the player account is closed, there will be no further activity and you will therefore not earn any further Commission Fees on these specific players.
    In the event that we terminate all promotional activity in a particular jurisdiction solely for business reasons (and without change in applicable laws or policy), and are unable to supply required 30 days’ notice the provisions of Clause 9.2. shall apply
    Please note we may also require you to remove all marketing materials including banners from your websites and the websites of your sub affiliates, (if applicable) with immediate effect, and we may disable such banners ourselves to the fullest extent possible. Furthermore you may be required to cease all email marketing initiatives and any other marketing activity. In this event, you agree to comply with immediate effect. Failure to do so may result in the closure of your account without prejudice to other rights and remedies hereunder for all and any damages which may ensure as a direct result of your failure to so comply.

    Some of those brands have been around for a long time. I remember going to a live Everest Poker promotional tournament in Oslo, Norway, in 2004 or 2005 as the poker boom peaked.

    Yep- I remember Everest poker too - although I never played or affiliated there.

    Beaffiliates worked very well some years back but in recent years things have changed such as 1) Negative Carry Over was introduced. 2) UK customers are no longer accepted. 3) Expekt.se cannot be promoted in Sweden.

    Back in the days Grand Virtual owned this brand I made some good money. After selling Everest Poker to Mangas Gaming (Betclic) it was completely over. Although this was the end of everything I buit up, I still think back at these days with a great smile. It was the beginning of earning money as an affiliate. I still remember that first day.....
