    I hit legs and chest this morning. After a week with nothing I was surprised that I was still able to dumbell press my PB weight. Although the failing was about a rep or two earlier than usual, still a win for me. Same thing on the legs.

    Even though it's a public holiday/long weekend here, I'll still get up at 5 tomorrow to gym. That way it's out of the way. I almost cancelled my sat morning outdoor fitness group because I thought all the girls would be away, but they were disappointed and wanted me to still run it, so it is going ahead. We have changed locations to a place that has self serve BBQs so we will be cooking ourselves bacon and egg rolls after our hard work.

    I'll leave you with this image for the weekend. This chick is who I look at when I need motivation. I think her body is amazing. It is not for everyone and I would expect some people to be like "eww she is gross" or "she looks like a man". Those people need not comment

    Her name is Bella Falconi and she has her own supplement line, her own clothing line etc etc. She is just awesome.

    You're crazy, I think over the next 4 days I'll be going to the gym maybe once or twice and it'll most definitely be in the afternoon . I wish we have BBQ weather, perhaps if the weather was better over here, it'd motivate me to do more outdoor work you Aussies have it good haha

    I think that's a little too much for me on a woman, but you have to respect the dedication. Women have to work so much harder than men to get a body like that, what with the lack of testosterone and all haha.

    I'll be doing chest tonight. Couldn't get a spot this morning and id rather do a proper session with a spot later on, than a half hearted session on my own this morning.

    And you're right, it takes AGES to build that. Sux being a chick sometimes.

    I think it makes it easier to get outside here simply because of the weather. I know whenever I go to LAC I stay in Cardiff for a few days beforehand and my friend's boyfriend is a combat trainer and does these combat bootcamps outside when it's freezing cold and pissing down rain. There is no way I'd have the motivation to be doing one of those things when the weather is like that.

    The thing I like about Bella Falconi is that when she is wearing normal clothes, you can't tell she is a beefcake.
    My end goal is to compete in a federation competition under fitness or figure. She competes at figure level and has won some comps. I just remembered too that she has her own food line in brazil, like those heat in the microwave meal things. And she has never tried one of them herself, only designed them. It's crazy!

    Do you grab a spot from one of the trainers in the gym? Or from a friend?

    A friend will spot me, the only guys offering help in my gym are Personal Trainers. Most of which look worse than me and offer bad advice for £40 an hour.

    I'll be happy if I can get back to the shape I was in back in 2010, back in the days when Martyn would frequently say I looked stupid because my head was too small for my body haha....I'm giving myself until October to do it, which will be a push.

    Our office is in a building with the head office of one of the biggest gym chains in the world and I never understand when I see their trainers walking around and they are out of shape. If I was getting myself a PT, I would choose the one who looks like what I want to look like, not the one who looks like he eats chips on the couch all day.

    Judging by the amount of dedication you have, I would say anything is possible

    just done my first run since November, 3.76 miles or 6.05km. not going to lie, that hurt me.

    it hurts indeed, next time try to start with bicycles first before moving straight to running ... its still hurts but less

    I try to make sure when I travel to conferences to have a gym in my hotel, (sometimes I have to convince my boss)
    but being energized in the conference or in the office is really important

    So how did everyone go over the long weekend?

    The outdoor fitness group I run on Saturday mornings killed everyone this week. It involved 1.5 hours of legs. Sprints, burpees, box jumps, squat jumps, mountain climbers, high steps, plyo lunges, and some slow jogging.

    I managed to get 2 more days of training in over the 4 days. Even today my quads still feel like they are not attached to my legs. Feels good after being so sick. My eating is not back to normal yet though. Seems like every second day something I've eaten upsets it again. I am hoping it will go back to normal this week. I feel like my muscles are withering away!

    I had a pretty awesome moment today so I just had to share..
    I took some xrays to the doctor for my elbow as I have some calcification on my tendons that connect to my triceps.

    Anyway he was showing me a movement that would tense one of the muscles in my forearm, so he tells me to tense my triceps and then he says "Your muscles are very well defined. Do you lift weights?"

    I felt like a beast! It was awesome. Hahah

    Anyway I'm out again for a long weekend with Anzac Day tomorrow. Happy lifting!

    I might just be talking to myself here

    I had an appointment with a company today who do training for bodybuilding comps because I'd like to compete in season B this year (september/october) for either bikini or fitness.

    I'm pretty excited actually. Looks like I will be starting my training in 2 weeks. If anyone is interested I'll post updates here. If not just tell me to shut up

    Don’t give up! Try to fit some walking in your daily routine; this has helped me a lot. Also due to a dislocation, I have now started a gluten free diet and since I am avoiding bread and pasta it’s also helping me to keep down my weight.

    I have my initial consultation next week now because I have been sick all of last week so didn't think it was wise to go in tomorrow.
    Usually I'd be that person still doing stuff sick but I really want to give myself the best shot at this so don't want to overdo it.
