It probably will... But who knows... did Instagram change a lot since it was bought by Facebook? I dont use Instagram so I have no idea...
Im great Maria thank you! You look good with that sailor hat!:chick:
Mark bought whatsapp and director of whatsapp is working now on facebook company, mark was with his girlfriend celebrating San Valentines and director of whatsapp called him telling i am ok to sell it ;) so then Mark pay 19 Billion USD, huh a big amount of money, hope they do not change it for those who use alot .....include Maria :)
I use it mostly for group messaging and for people who are overseas. It's cheaper to use data to send a text message than an international SMS.
I got a message on whatsapp about 4 weeks ago telling me that from Feb 12 i will need to start paying a yearly fee to use it. I ignored it just to see what would happen. I'm still able to use it now without paying so glad I didn't pay.
Instagram didn't change much of anything that I noticed when Facebook bought them, so hopefully whatsapp will be the same.
They claim they will continue to operate as seperate companies so I would think changes would not be instant reguardless.
Funny, no one would ever think it would be ok for Microsoft to buy Apple or for Apple to buy them, but no one seems to have an issue when the largest social media site buys up their competition.

Earlier I always thought that Google can do anything he can create anything he can beat anyone but Today Google and Facebook Like big company Buying Whatsapp
Why they wants to buy Whatsapp because of whatsapp popularity or they simply can't make it
Well if that is true and this deal has not yet been approved, the shareholders should can the deal and see how much more Google can sweeten it.
I am not sure either deal it anti-competetive, but I hope the government looks at this closely.

You would think that the technology isn't difficult to replicate or could be patented in anyway but I guess Whatsapp being the first to market in this type of social network service is what counts.Quote:

I think whatsapp asks for 69p after you've had free use for a year which is well worth it. For some people it seems to continue to work if you don't pay but for others it stops which is strange!Quote:

I really like whatsapp and think people are starting to favour socialising in much smaller groups in general using technology. Not everyone wants to share everything with all their 'friends' as facebook tries to ensure.
And 2 days after Facebook buys them there are server problems... WhatsApp didn't work in multiple countries on Saturday.
WhatsApp said that the downtime was for about 4 hours http://www.cnbc.com/id/101437355
But there were troubles since Saturday night and also afterwards there were problems. But the company keeps it as small as possible of course..
They don't purchase the technology, could certainly do the same in no time.
They purchased the 450 million user database, and the entry door it gives in China
FB is ruling Social, and that how it is going to e in the next 20 years !!
Whatsapp is a very useful tool to communicate with friends and family. Facebook seems to be looking to control the whole world! I hope it does not ruin Whatsapp.
