Exclamation Fame2space - commission cancelled by a manager (RESOLVED)

    Hi everyone,
First, I want to be clear about something before diving in: I'm not here to attack anyone personally. I'm not a vindictive person, and I genuinely don't enjoy this kind of post. That's exactly why I won't be naming the manager involved — this isn't about pointing fingers at an individual, it's about warning the affiliate community about a network's practices.
With that said, I feel I have a responsibility to share what happened to me with fame2space, to hopefully save some of you from going through the same thing.

    Summary of the dispute

    • Commissions cancelled without valid justification: ~€5,000
    • Abusive condition imposed: mandatory TOP 10 placement in my rankings
    • Significant loss of leads that could have been sent to other, reliable programs
    • Network involved: fame2space

The abusive condition: mandatory TOP 10

What makes this situation particularly frustrating is that the manager at fame2space explicitly required that their casinos be placed in the TOP 10 of my rankings on https://bonuscasinoelite.com — and no lower. This was a non-negotiable demand.
To comply, I had to sacrifice valuable positions in my rankings — slots I could have given to other affiliate programs that actually pay. The financial damage is therefore twofold: the ~€5,000 in unpaid commissions, and on top of that, the lost revenue from leads I couldn't send elsewhere while those spots were occupied.

    The real cost

    Unpaid commissions
    ~€5,000

    Lost leads (opportunity cost)
    On top of that

    My advice to fellow affiliates

If any network or manager demands guaranteed placement conditions (such as "TOP 10 mandatory") without a solid contractual guarantee of payment on their end, treat it as a red flag. These conditions are designed to extract value from your traffic while leaving them a convenient excuse to cancel your commissions later.
I am currently documenting this dispute and escalating it through the proper channels. If you've had a similar experience with fame2space, I'd encourage you to speak up here or reach out to me directly. The more affiliates share their stories, the harder it becomes for networks to operate this way.

    Verdict
Avoid fame2space. Deceptive practices, cancelled commissions with no valid reason, and abusive placement requirements. Protect your traffic and your revenue — don't make the same mistake I did.

Again — I have nothing personal against any individual at fame2space. I'm simply sharing facts so the community can make informed decisions. If the network wants to resolve this properly, my door is open.

Is this a new program? I did a quick search and couldn’t find much about them. How long were you collaborating with them? Did they give you any reason for cancelling the commissions, or did they just stop responding? In any case, thanks for the heads-up; I hope you either get paid what you’re owed or, at the very least, move on to better opportunities going forward.

No, I've only been with them for two months. The FAME manager replied, and I have to wait while the situation is resolved. I'll give you an update as soon as possible. Apparently, FAME is a CPA network from 1win, according to what's written on their website

Thanks for the warning about Fame2space. What they are doing is really unfair and unethical, and in my view it is no different from stealing.

I'm really sorry to hear. Very unethical behaviour that's completely rogue and unjustified.

No updates at the moment, I'm just told to be patient and that it's being resolved. How long can this kind of dispute take? At what point can I assume my manager is taking me for a fool?

Two months with no clear reason is already too much. Real compliance checks can take a few weeks, but usually you still get at least some explanation and a rough timeline.

I’ve heard of pending payments being honored after months, sometimes completely out of the blue, when they were already considered lost.

That said, the decision of how much time to wait is very personal. In my case, the back-and-forth stresses me out, so over the years I’ve reduced the time and effort I am willing to invest in these disputes. If the AM is still responsive (which I see as a good sign), I ask them for a timeline and communicate that after a certain number of days, I will stop promoting their brand until the outstanding balance is fully settled.

It's certainly not unheard of to be paid a few months late. But you've phrased it very well - how long you wait is a matter of your personal comfort/risk level.

For us, as soon as an advertiser is 7-10 days late we pause traffic. Pausing is really the only leverage we have as affiliates. Also, I'm not willing to risk not getting paid for high value traffic when we could send it to more reliable brands.

I look at late payments in 2 ways: 1) The company doesn't not have a good financial structure in place to pay partners on time. That's not something I want to invest time or traffic in dealing with. 2) The company does not value us or our partnership enough to make timely payments. It says a lot when a company values large and small affiliates equally.
