Default FanDuel CEO: Expect fewer adds, more laws, no IPO

Nigel Eccles, the CEO of daily fantasy sports giant FanDuel, says the public should expect a cutback on advertising soon from the DFS sites. He also thinks the industry is in line for a boatload of regulation, and that no DFS company will go public anytime in the near future.

    Thoughts?

I think cutting back on the ads is good. I remember when online poker was advertising heavily and then PokerStars had the balls to launch a show on national TV. We all know what happened to them. I think flying under the radar for a little would be good for DFS. Let the all hype die down a little. Just about everyone knows about FanDuel and DraftKings by now so leave it up to us affiliates to bring you the new players! If I were them I would try to downplay the amount of people and money involved before our nosey Congress gets to involved. I just hope it is not to late.
