    Default Fansbet not paying

    We have an issue with Fansbet, we have not received payment since June, In total the amounts are around 9000 euros. We keep getting several excuse for not paying. They have never been good payers even with small amounts but yet we have always received them. Now that the amounts are bigger, it seems to be very difficult to get anything.

    Been waiting for under 600€ since last june or july. Around 20 different excuses and the latest was difficulties with fundraising. So I suppose you should not hold your breath.

    9000 euros is a fair bit of money. That's really quite disgusting and best to steer clear from them. Thank you for warning us.

    Yes, exactly that. Commission is owed and they are saying this cannot be paid as they don't operate in the UK anymore.....

    They've certainly been having issues with funding... I'm amazed you've been paid as recently as June this year though... they owe us over €2000 in rev share dating back to early 2022.

    Anyone got an update or payment from Fansbet / Rush Gaming?

    Our case is going to a debt collector on Monday. No other choice, I know that they all read my messages as I included a tracker in the last emails, but no one cares to respond. The AM tried to help on Skype but ultimately had no authority for payments, thus we are still at the stage of the OP's post.

    Fansbet, in general, went downhill when Argyle (their operating platform for the UK) filed for bankruptcy in the UK (or closed down, can't remember now), thus they lost one of their major markets. However, they are still operating under their MGA licence and thus are accepting players and deposits..

    We'll see what the debt collector can achieve since the operating company is registered in Malta.

    Email received on the 29th of December. After this was received, I talked to Dean. He has left the company as far as I know and the unpaid commissions "will be paid at some point" so I think some could see some coins but probably most affiliates will be left with nothing.

    Thanks for posting that. We never received such an email but I talked to Dean just before the New Year. Also sent the invoices YET AGAIN to that email.

    Indeed, I expect affiliates to get pennies on the dollar if that much. Shame really as the brand was a good performer on our sites and I always managed to get us paid up to the point when the seemingly more serious issues started in JUL 2023.

    Just another nugget in this odyssey.

    Fansbet was using Argyll Entertainment as platform in the UK, which in turn had SB Tech supplying the sports odds.

    In 2020, the fabled EEG (Esports Entertainment Group or shall we say Spiffbet) acquired Argyll and shut it down partly at the end of 2022 and completely in mid-2023. Seems to be their favourite pastime since they also closed down a ton of casinos they acquired in a rush, e.g. most of the Cashmio brands. Or they sold it back to the original owners as in the case of Bethard.

    Now, I think many affiliates have been affected by non-payments from EEG. Luckily, we had only AFFmore brands still on our sites although well hidden and removed since. We managed to finally get all dues in SEP 2023 but not without threatening legal action. From what I saw, the final payment was directly authorized from their HQ in the US.

    Thus, IMO, it is safe to conclude that the downfall of Fansbet and Rush Gaming Ltd is at least in part due to Argyll and EEG.

    Absolutely terrible. This is really happening much too often and we unlucky affiliates are always left with nothing. As life grows colder and becomes more difficult with each passing year, there hardly seems to be comfort in anything and this is just another worrying trend.

    No news from our side, sadly. They all but went AWOL.

    This person is supposed to still answer but he went quiet too after contacting him: SONDRE@FANSBETGROUP.COM
