Fast.bet - review

Hello everyone!

Here's a project that we've launched some time ago, and started getting some content now (and looks at least a bit completed).

It's "a 1 keyword website" - https://www.fast.bet/ and probably with the domain you will understand which is the keyword.

It basically has 1 main listing template page, which you can see with it's full content here - https://www.fast.bet/ca/ (and on all other GEOs).

My questions are:
1. What do you think about 1 keyword websites, should they contain something more than listing pages?
2. Do you think anyone will ever "consume" the content of such long pages (no matter how well formatted is).

And all other feedback is always welcome!

No... but google does so that's why sites have been trending to ever longer home pages.


It's a nice looking site, the absolute home page is nicely done as well with the different geos.

Couple of notes:

1. The logo looks like "Ast Bet" to me - I see what you're going for with the lightning for the F but I don't see it as a letter at all.

2. A couple of the pages use the CA offers when they probably shouldn't. UK and SA both showing CAD promos for me (viewing from UK).

3. Site isn't UKGC compliant. Can't use "Play Now" as a CTA in the UK. Need to show offer sig terms as well (but guessing that could be connected to #2?).

Yeah nice looking site. I agree your users are rarely going to consume all the content but you need it for the big G.

Also viewing in the UK and seeing the CA offers without any terms and with stuff that wouldn't be compliant for the UK, like 'play now' as baldidiot mentioned.

Related to that the screenshots you use for the mini reviews all contain the offers in them with terms too small to read. These are going to be a headache for you as you are going to need to update the screenshot every time the offer changes for compliance reasons. Maybe screenshot without the offers and if you want to feature their offers do so in a unit you code in yourself?

Also agree the logo looks like "ast bet", if you want to stick with the lightning bolt you need to make it look more like an 'F'.

Agree about the logo.
You could try just adding the F, then decide whether the lightening bolt looks better on either side or both.

Nice design (except the logo, I agree with the other users here), an interesting concept, not sure though if one pager still works- Will follow the progress of this site for sure .

Is there a reason you didnt localize the German site?

Great design. Colors and content layout are awesome. Love it. Is that ready template or it's custom?
I am also running .bet domain and till now can say that people and Google like it. I wish you good luck with that project : )

1. If I owned the website, I would add translation for Germany page.



I would also add longer review in different pages for each casino. To me it seems the reviews are too short.

Example: Bets.io Casino Review - should have a button which will redirect the visitor to the full-length & in-depth review.

The additional page for "Bets.io Casino Review" will help with organic traffic for sure.

Additionally I would translate the website with an API from DeepL to top spoken languages in the world:

- English (1,132 million speakers)
- Mandarin (1,117 million speakers)
- Hindi (615 million speakers)
- Spanish (534 million speakers)
- French (280 million speakers)
- Arabic (274 million speakers)
- Russian (258 million speakers)
- Portuguese (234 million speakers)

As there are people who use VPN's.

2. I believe yes! But I also think you'll do better with the website if you'd had specific pages for each casino. (like I pointed out above).

People will consume long content. There are also people who would read the full-length review of a casino.

I won't quite agree. By translating the site into languages like German and some other especially European languages, we lose traffic if we advertise offshore sites.

Our site gets blocked in Germany, Switzerland, etc. and we lose all traffic from those locations (ok only people with VPNs stay) while having English, we still have inputs from Germany or Switzerland from English speakers.

There seems to be more English speakers than those using VPNs, but research is lacking on this, it's an opinion.

Besides, of the languages you write about Chinese, Hindi and Arabic are not in the DeepL API.

It's better to use other plugins than TranslatePress, even though copy/paste translations are more time-consuming. TranslatePress will block the development of your site, well, unless you have a very small site.
