Do you think it's finally time for us to start working together, now that you've finished re-watching Lost, 24 and Prison Break for the 4th time?

The bolded line is something I think every time I send an email to some people.

I automatically start emails with 'how are things?' or 'how is everything?'. This is sometimes included even when i have negative topic to discuss.

Ouch! I say I hope all is well all of the time!

Trying to think of something else that I could use now, use it on almost every email I send.
That's only to people I know, it would be a bit strange if sent to somebody I've never met or interacted with before.
