I love footbal "discussions" Sorry, I am not so full of emotion with English football or only when we are talking about teams, that I want to see more in front like Newcastle and specially Leeds............

If we can also fight about German football, I am your man. ^^

    Oh No ...

A discussion about football between Germans and English can only end up in disaster imo

How long before 1 - 5 comes up?

How can you mention Newcastle and not West Brom at this moment in time?

I am half neutral when we talk about German national football, cause I am from former Yugoslavia and moved to Germany, so I just hope that we will kick Portugals asses in the playoff for world cup

I am 100% Schalke. Worker-club with long tradition, great fans and I grew up in this town. This is really religion in this part of Germany. They and this ugly yellow and black club from Dortmund

West brom is a nice club and it was really sad that the run came too late last season. good team, but they will need one more cold-blooded guy in the attacking line to have a constant season. maybe in winter transfer period.

Wow, you do know your stuff!

We certainly do need another striker, our position at top of the table is very false.

    new striker my ass

    you need a new philosophy

this yo yo crap you lot do is sad and the worst thing is thatthe WBA fans accept it as a badge of honour.

I remember the WBA of old, they were a force to be reckoned with, now whenever they get promoted they are expected to go down

That is not the case with Birmingham or even Burnley or stoke, theres hope withy them

Tell ya chirmen to bloody invest some serious hard cash next time you get promoted and take the risk

Wood can get to a real diamond, but he is too young to take care when it gets "hot", but I think he can be a real plus in matches. Bednar is a solid roleplayer, but not more. will be hard without one more striker, but midfield looks solid with young guns like dorrans and experienced players like Koren. but some of established midfielders are not playing as good as I thought before the season.

    If only you knew!

We baggies fans hate the yoyo, hate the latest philosophy and mostly hate Jeremy Peace!

Albion were a force to be reckoned with, but as per usual every time let the players go for money!

The days like when Atkinson took Bryan Robson are all too prevalent!

I was at a jolly at the club a few seasons back when guest speakers were Johnny Giles and Ron Atkinson. I asked why they both gave up and moved on and why they both let players go too? There answer both times was identical - The board choose the players who are sold not the manager at the Albion, infact Ron looked over at then manager Gary Megson and said and its still the same now i bet! Megson dropped his head, of course unable to comment, however, obviously his actions spelt it out!

Yes we are one of the few teams not in the red and financially are stable, but we want more, of course we do!

When my daughter worked in accounts at the Albion, the only time the chairman showed his face was to get a cheque made out to him! Everyone there hated him too!

Now he has the club set up as he wished, majority share and under his complete control he will sell up as soon as we are promoted!

LOL Shaun will be seething, i have hijacked the thread and made it Albionesque

Young Chris Woods is going to be world class, he came on against Doncaster and hit such a sweet shot from 35 yards that it really did deserve to end up where it did - in the back of the net! It was great to be there and see such a goal!

He is too young at the moment, only 17 and will struggle to do too well.

Bednar is back 100% now - although currently injured - after his drugs scandal and is our only hope as Luke Moore is a waste of a good shirt!

Dorrans is superb and likely to be 1 of the players that is used to make a quick buck at some point soon!

We have lost depth in the midfield and not all guns are firing there but we no longer have Gera or Greening to call on!

Defence is looking very strong and most of our goals are coming from there through Olsson and Marek Cech.

We really do need strikers in a plenty and also to get shut of a useless keeper in carson! Even calamity James on a bad day was better!

But, no doubt, Albion will be there come the end of the season and it will be great to take the trophy from the Wolves along with seeing them relegated too!

Bloody welsh should stick to playing rugby.

In all fairness, you were more up for it than we were and deserved it, however, 3 refused decent penalty shouts and it would have been different had 1 been allowed.
