Forum Spamming by GPWA Approved Portal - RESOLVED

The webmaster of onlinecasinoselite.com which is a GPWA APPROVED PORTAL continues to spam my forum on Online Casino Reviewer.

This is not the first time I have had to delete and remove posts and threads created by new forum accounts which use pseudo signatures ( Signatures are not allowed until 30 posts have been made on the forum ) linking back to the sites onlinecasinoselite.com.



I am soft deleting the latest batch of spam posts and will give the necessary access to Cityguard and or Michael on my forum to verify that my forum is being spammed by this gpwa member lunaraurora.

In my view the gpwa portal seal should be removed from his site.

Furthermore, I am going to contact Tex Rees or/and Andrew Beveridge at eCogra with a view to getting onlinecasinoselite.com delisted from ecogra's reputable portal list.

I will also be contacting the affiliate managers of all the programs this portal promotes.

Dealing with forum spammers is a day to day hazard for any webmaster that operates a forum. But I do not expect a webmaster of a gpwa approved portal to engage in this activity.

Affiliate managers won't care about spamming issues, I reported an issue with massive spam and they didn't take any action.

I think GPWA must investigate spamming issue very seriously!

I think once solid proof is shown, the GPWA seal MUST be revoked. The reason I say solid proof, last week or so, there was a case of someone "doing in" a private member with seal status. If you submit the data along with ip address to the steerage of the GPWA they should be held accountable to take drastic action against the offender.

AS far as the programs not taking action, I to have a stance that they won't remain on my sites. I have pulled brands in the past that condone spamming and have refused to work with others that allow shady operators. Once I find it and report it, and the program gives me the BS "well it happens" response, it is bye bye for them. I am no fool, I know it happens, but if you take the time to expose it and nothing happens, it shows the true colors of the program.

I have no problem with giving Michael or CityGuard Admin or Mod access on the forum on Online Casino Reviewer - so they can view first hand the posts which I have soft deleted.

Hi webzcas, i'm so sorry, we are against spam pratices and we are a clean portal, unfortunally one of my collaborator wanted to try this service: www.forumlinkbuilding.com, those basta*ds are spamming us with stupid messages on various forum, and this is contrary to their promises.
That's why we do not recommend forum link building.
I personally will inform them to stop our campaign with them because of these embarrassing results.

It's your site and your responsibility. Noone else's. If your site is spamming, the buck stops with you, and there are no excuses. Take your lumps.

Thank you for posting in this thread and the explanation you have given does seem plausible, as the same ip address is responsible for also spamming other portals on my forum.

I have yet to contact either ecogra or any affiliate managers of the programs which you promote. I was hoping for you to respond in this thread with an explanation as to what has happened and am pleased you have done so.

However I do wonder why you used a service such as forumlinkbuilding.com? As the domain name suggests, that they do actually spam forums thus building forum links.

This is something similar to a tool released by syndk8 which enabled black hat webmasters to spam enmasse pliggs - although it would seem that forumlinkbuilding.com do this for you.

Worse still you even paid for them to do this.

That said I am happy enough with your explanation to not take this further and will not be contacting ecogra or any of the affiliate managers of the programs you promote regarding this. I will also inform Michael that I am withdrawing my complaint concerning your site's GPWA Seal Status.

Caruso, I am a great believer in innocent until proven guilty and also like to give the benefit of the doubt where and when warranted. The explanation provided is sufficient for me. Bear in mind it was my site that was directly affected by this.

With regards Vegas Treasure Chest and your issue with them. That is a completely different ball game as you well know. They were not innocent and I believe had their GPWA Seal removed. I am more than willing to contact Andrew still about their ecogra seal status if you wish me to.

One final point. The fact that Renee stepped up to the plate, considering I did not even contact her and do very little with her program, shows that she is a class affiliate manager.

I will be ensuring I give more exposure to Rewards Affiliates in the coming months as a result.

Thanks Webzcas for beliving in our innocence, this does not imply that we were wrong to choose such a service without going into the consequences that would have generated.
Btw, they confirm that our campaign was interrupted, so everybody can relax now.
However, this experience will enrich our knowledge, and we will never fall into such traps.
