it is not a scam, i posted the direct download exe link for webmasters of this forum as well as the professors forum. i do sell the ebook on my site for 4.90 to prospective gamblers or webmasters, but the exe link which is http://www.stockutopia.com/winningsystems.exe is free of charge for members of the two forums only, therefore it is not a SCAM! please be my guest and download it at the above link for free... read the book you will see for yourself that it is well written.
it is called viral marketing for those newbies who feel it is a scam. inside the ebook are actual systems and strategies for gambling, therefore the ebook is informative and great content for any site. in other words ... the book has value.
croupier is absolutely correct when he said there were links to aff. sites. the links throughout the ebook look something like this.... "try the systems at xbookie.com" viral marketing is one of the best ways to attract players to your site. my suggestion is download the book and read how well written it is.... then have your links put into the book instead of my links and you will see how effective it is to attract 'real gamblers' to your site.... unfortunately arkyt called it a scam... it is far from a scam... it is called marketing. any good marketer knows this is a free and very effective way to advertise their site...
as for that horrible word 'scam' i dont scam people i make an honest living making money the same way most of the members of this forum do... that is called affiliate marketing.... i have been doing this since early 1999 i am very honest and very successful... unfortunately there are people out there who always think they are being scammed. arkyt, just so you know (between you and I) i dont have to be dishonest in this business to make a living... i know what it takes to do it the honest way.

craig in no way was i attacking you, you did not call me a scam ... you asked me to reply to a question. i have nothing to hide, therefore i will respond to any legitimate question... the question was ... "whats the catch?" that is a great question, but when arkyt said i am a scam, it was wrong. we are all in this together as casino webmasters, there is no need to attack somebody for marketing his or her site.

You say we can have our links in the book instead of your links - does this mean that you wouldn't have any links in the book if we used it on our site or that you would still have some links? Surely you've got to keep some links for yourself otherwise there's nothing in it for you.

BTW: To anyone interested, viral marketing can be a VERY effective form of advertising - just look at hotmail. When it was first released there was vertualy no advertising for it except for the links placed in the emails that users sent out when using hotmail.


Virgin also had great success with it:

When it was promoting the Virgin.Net service, 20'000 cinema tickets were on offer as prizes. Although only 25 users were targeted with an email explaining the offer, all tickets were snapped up in less than three hours. In fact almost 35'000 people had applied for the tickets.
Virgin discovered that word could spread rapidly, even when the value of an individual prize was low.

If anyone's interested in this then I would suggest giving it away for free Viral marketing only works if it propagates easily, and there's no easier way to spread something than to give it away

correct... free is the way to distribute these ebooks... i give them away and i put a 4.90 price on it, mainly to distribute them faster... i found that if someone was to purchase the book they would know the download link... and everybody knows that people will be more interested in downloading an ebook that has a price on it for free than a free ebook for free. people will make copies and send my link to their friends and so on... they do this, because they think they are stealing or pirating the ebook. but if it was for free all over my site, then people wouldnt try to push my ebook , because it is no big deal to get a free book that everyone else gets for free.... marketing psychology is the only way to make $$$$

If you've never heard of clickbank you can sign up for free

They've got hundreds of offers like this guy (most want you to pay).
I have gotten some small checks from clickbank.
The basic is that you add your id (mine is rmeeuwsen) in the link to earn commissions from those listed.
Things like "freetosell" are here plus hosting plans and ALL sorts of stuff.

You could go to their gaming section and include offers from those listed in order to expand your sites services.

IF this guy allows you to include your own affiliate id's in his ebook, then IT IS a good deal, otherwise it's just more good viral marketing for him.

Regardless, it's nice that he's giving it to you for free.

The ebook says it has been compiled and that you must contact the author for changes (who will presumably want some money).

I didn't read it very thoroughly, but I did note that the blackjack section said that card counting was illegal.
