Full Tilt Poker has launched a new high-speed poker format called "Rush Poker." In this format, players are dealt up to four times more hands per hour of play.

"Rush Poker" is pretty easy to understand. Instead of staying at one table, players are put into a large pool spread over multiple tables. Once a player folds a hand, he or she is immediately moved to another table to play. There's also a quick-fold option that speeds the game up even more.

Casino City has the press release:

DUBLIN, Ireland -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Full Tilt Poker – the world's leading online poker site – is set to revolutionize the online poker industry with the arrival of a ground-breaking new poker format: Rush Poker.

Rush Poker is the ultimate high-speed poker experience, designed to minimize wait time between hands and keep players in the action at all times. In a Rush Poker game, players are dealt up to four times more hands per hour than in standard ring-game play.

"Rush Poker is the greatest innovation in online poker since poker started on the Internet," said 2000 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion and Team Full Tilt member Chris Ferguson. "Rush Poker is an amazingly fast-paced game. You always have a decision to make; you're never waiting for other players to finish the hand."

Unlike standard ring games, where players join one table and face the same opponents every hand, Rush Poker games have a large player pool spread across multiple tables. When a player folds their hand, they'll immediately be moved to another table with different opponents for the next hand, even if the current hand is still in progress.

In order to speed up the game even more, Rush Poker games feature a Quick Fold button at the table which allows players to fold their hand before it's their turn to act.

Rush Poker is available exclusively at Full Tilt Poker. For more information on this amazing new poker format, including how to find and play a Rush Poker game, visit www.fulltiltpoker.com/rush-poker.
