Unhappy Gala Partners NGR / Commission Issues

Has anyone had any issues with their Gala Casino commissions the last couple of months (feb & march)?

Our February commissions were underpaid 600 due to "NGR being calculated incorrectly", and nobody seems to want to explain what happened or share the correct figures.

I've just learnt today that our March commissions will be underpaid by 3,150!!!

We have 2 Gala affiliate accounts, and no issues on the other one. Also work with another affiliate who has had no issues.

Are we being duped? Never had any issues with them before, but noticed they are "Rogued" on AGD.

Yes had problems for 6 months. Contacted my aff manager quite a few times because my stats are wrong and he just kept fobbing be off. Gave up in the end. The problems started for me whrn the cpa part of my hybrid deal changed so i'd only get the cpa for new customers and not one thaat already had an account.

I asked how can players sign up if they already have an account and the reply was "don't worry you'll still get the commission for these players"

To which i asked does that mean if one of my players signs up again for another bonus i lose that player to another affiliate to which the answer was "no".

I don't know how that works but rely on the commission from older players so still work with them. Its a shame because i never had any problems before that and had a great relationship with Ziv before he moved away to the Bingo side.

Sounds familiar, only answering half your questions and still not making much sense...!

Ziv was great, he's left Gala entirely now. I've been contacting Simon Gentely but he's on holiday now. He passed over someone else's details but they've not bothered replying to any of my emails. I've emailed the main affiliate team email today, still nothing.

To be fair though, mine is a separate issue to yours as we're on rev share - what they're claiming is that the net revenue figures are wrong, and so the commission is being calculated wrong. Smells fishy to me though, especially seeing as I have had no explanation, or cooperation trying to get hold of the correct figures.

Don't give up chasing your commissions, sometimes it is worth it in the end, and that's what some of them rely on - affiliates giving up..

Im on a hybrid deal. I get rev share and cpa. Stats are wrong and say different things on different reports but when the commission hits my account so far it has always been more than even the payment report says. Last month they added a bonus to payments in the payments report so it is the same as what i receive but this is done at the end of the month i assume to make the books add up. Simon is also my aff manager. Ziv would of sorted this within a day or atleast acknowledged there is a problem with the stats.

Oh right, so you're actually getting paid more than what the stats say? We're getting paid less. And this only started happening in February. How long has it been going on for you?

Started about 6 months ago. Simon just kept saying to send screenshots of the stats which i did and then he'd just say he would pass it on to the right people. This went on for weeks and i gave up as it became clear i was going to get no help or he was not going to admit there is a problem with the software. If i didn't rely on the commission i'd drop them but unfortunately i use to send them a good few players.

Hi all, has anyone else been having similar issues recently - reports stating one amount for net revenue / commission but a manual negative override being applied to those commissions at the end of the month before being paid?

If you are not experiencing those issues and your commissions are being paid in line with those in the reports, please also post here, so we know it's not affecting all Gala affiliates.

    Many thanks!

I am not experiencing such things. We do not promote the casino though, we promote Gala Bingo and it sounds like this issue might be on the casino.

Incorrect stats (zero NGR etc... same as everyone else) for almost a year now.

I have just given up on promoting them. They pay sporadically, have no interest in fixing whatever is wrong, don't seem to care at all about fixing it.

Agree Ziv was the last good point of contact.

It is unbelievable really but fits with the experience I have had at every other group run out of Tel Aviv.

Is anyone still experiencing issues since the Gala/Coral and Ladbrokes merger? I am seeing very unusual stats, nothing like what I've had in past years.

My prediction - they will announce that they cannot continue with the current system and will be introducing Mexos. And that will be the end of my relationship with Gala/Coral.

    Countdown begins...

The affiliate team are trying to be very slippery when paying commission on a big player that arrived last month. They are claiming that all our commission has been earned on bingo, for which we aparently have no deal agreed and therefore 0% commission!

They have paid us bingo commission in months prior, so this is a new development which just happens to fit the arrival of the big player.

Of course from THIS month we have a deal agreed and they expect us to send many more big players

As for stats - still total confusion. Negatives out of nowhere that never used to happen. I have had years of steady income from Coral...literally years...and as soon as the programme changed management that stopped. I can't offer any real proof I am being cheated, but it sure feels lke it, and it mirrors my experience with MANY other brands run by the same people. The same tactics of deliberate confusion, delays, and poor communication.

That does sound like they're trying to pull a fast one. Are you on a custom deal? By that, I do not mean a rev share that is different from their default offerings, but instead I'm referring to a separate document that both you and the program have signed?

If you're not on a truly custom deal (as described above), then it would be reasonable to conclude that you would default to their default commission rates as advertised on one of their propaganda pages.

Regarding your stats, mine look fine - so I cannot say anything one way or the other regarding what you're experiencing. My suggestion is to look at the player data and compare it to previous months and see if you can find anything that looks "off".

    I go this **** today:

    "How are you?
My name is Hadar and I am your account manager at LadbrokesCoral.
As part of the new company policy, we need to ensure that all of our affiliates have a signed agreement for each of our brands (Coral/Ladbrokes/Gala).

In addition to this, we will need a copy of your company certificate. If you do not have one then a photo ID and utility bill would be sufficient.
If you already have a signed agreement I would appreciate it if you could email it to me.

Please get back to me at your earliest convenience."

My deals with all three brands were agreed by email years ago, though for Ladbrokes the 'no negative rollover' element which I always made sure I kept and was assured to me many times by my UK AM was removed by Ladbrokes 'head of affiliates' after what they thought was a good month last November (but it wasn't a good month considering my marketing spend). It coincided with losing my UK-based affiliate manager (yes, I kept one for ages after Ladbrokes went to Israel) and being chucked over to the Israel AMs. I am very wary of their reference to "signed agreements" in Hadar's email above. That is not how it was ever done in the past with any of these brands for me. Just done on the basis of emailed agreements. My earnings with Coral and Ladbrokes have fallen through the floor since the merger and Coral used to be a good revenue source for me - in turn I sent them the players. I have heavily reduced their exposure now. I don't actually have an Affiliate Manager. The previous one Tomer has been, basically, unhelpful and just given up on me while "Hadar" is brand new from today and starts asking for paperwork (though I had already sent Tomer my company details). I wonder who the AM will be tomorrow. What I do know is that whoever it is, I will not trust them. Coral, Ladbrokes, Gala have all gone down the toilet and there is no way to trust the stats coming out of Israel nowadays. Such a shame they couldn't have dumped Israel and kept the Coral team in Gibraltar. That Gib team was fairly poor but at least they appeared both honest and helpful. Streets ahead of the current bunch of second-hand car salesmen. I suspect the Israel team is earning bonuses on FTDs only and motivated to drive down the affiliate payouts on revenue share. These brands are toxic now.

When the deal we negotiated with "Income Access" was pulled (without notice), we were proactive in getting signed, written agreements with both Coral & Gala. We never did much with Lads and probably won't in the future to be honest.

Sadly, companies often (mistakenly) focus on FTD count and quality is often mistaken for quantity.

Agree these brands have gone downhill since the loss of UK AM for Ladbrokes and the loss of Gib team for Coral and the merger of the brands.

Any brand that goes to Israel gets a black mark against them. Perfectly coincided with Coral stopping converting too.
