    that is a start, but with the amount of money these guys make lets hope that quadruples in the scond half of 2007.

    Default MLB spent $420K lobbying

    Now MLB has broader interests in what's going on in Congress than just Internet gambling, but the commissioner's office did spend $420,000 lobbying inthe first half of this year, and some of it was certainly done in an effort to keep Barney Frank's bill from gaining any traction.

    This is some battle... Citigroup released their numbers and it shows that they spent money lobbying Internet gambling issues too. I think I'd take the investment banks over the MLB in this battle.
