I finally got a termporary work around to the popup issue with the gaming dollars properties I was working on.

The issue is, that after following an affiliate link to the bingo properties, in most cases once a visitor starts looking around the site, upon them attempting to back up (using their back button in the browser) the visitor gets exit pop windows to sites that the affiliate does not recieve credit for.

I had tested this on a number of different machines, and was able to recreate it very consistently. There is a cookie set in some cases that will make the popup stop, but I was not able to figure out the pattern that triggers the cookie to stop the popup.

The temporary solution is to add &t=1 to the end of the tracking url to avoid the pop ups.

I have not yet tested this work around but wanted to get this info out as soon as I could.

As per an email I got from Laurence, during the month of March, Gaming Dollars will be working on a solution to this issue to either get rid of the pops, or to carry tags over and give the affiate credit for the exits.
