Getting Affiliate Customers Through Sign Ups
Hi all, Im from the Uk & new to this site came across it via good old Google
I have ran horse betting sites for sometime, on a small scale I must add. But now am going into it in a bigger way & I am now partners with someone else & we are pushing our affiliate accounts.
So we are in affiliate programs with nearly all the major bookmakers.
I know a few tipsters who do this & I wondered if there was an easy way to do it....
people visit website > sign up for free trial via aweber form > receive email saying something along the lines of "Hi thankyou for..... 3 day trial...... just one more step, please sign up with one of these bookmakers.... (list links).....
But i cant see that bookmakers email you & let you know when someone new signs up, a daily report would do. But as they dont list names how do you actually know that they have sgned up ?
Is this a process that anyone else is doing with success, i was thinking maybe a form so the client can give a ref number but .. I dont know
Would really apprecaite some constructive feedback
Many thanks,
Richard

Bookmakers should always notify you of a sign up as long as you are using an affiliate tracked url, The free tips and sign ups rarely work "no deposits" you need a reason to convert the client.. Better odds? Bigger bonuses "Though few of my players actually take a bonus" or Fast payouts? etc..

eGASS has such a function. Unfortunately most bookmakers are not using that software.

Income access allows you to add a variable to each aff link i.e. acid=there@email.com so you can see which emails have signed up. Some income access sites also show you the customer username too.
