How long passed between requesting the card on the Neteller website and Neteller sending an email confirming they had sent the card?

That's a bit like asking "how long is a piece of string?".

I received the email (in June) notifying me that a card was due to be sent. However I didn't receive the card until 6'th Oct. 2007.

Though maybe that was because they had a rolling start with the Country by Country issue of the cards. Maybe Australia wasn't a priority.

I would think depending on where you are in the world would have a direct influence on the time it takes to receive it.

In hindsight I wouldn't take much of what Neteller says as fact. I asked VIP support 5 or 6 times where is my card & was told 5 or 6 different stories and dates.

Sorry I can not be of more assistance.

    Cheers

Thank you for the answer. I dont mean to ask how long it took to arrive. I requested my card last week but I did not receive a confirmation email and the website says the application is being processed. I wonder how long it took people to receive the confirmation email that the card had been sent after they requested it?

Default problem with globewallet prepaid card

Hi guys....new to this forum. I see everyone seems to be ok with the globewallet prepaid card.

I have recently withdrawn money from my neteller account to my prepaid and when I try to withdraw cash from the ATM (in Sydney Australia) it doesn't recognise the card even though the machine says it accepts mastercard.

What am doing wrong? I have clicked on 'savings account', 'checque account' and 'credit account' in the ATM still without any luck.

How do I get the money out???

When I view my neteller account online it says the prepaid card is active and it shows the withdrawels to my prepaid card as being 'accepted'

    Any help appreciated...thanks in advance

    Hi sqwerty,

BTW does that stand for a small qwerty keyboard

OK I'm in Australia also and I use either ANZ or Commonwealth ATM's they both work.

Use those ATM's and select cheque account & you'll be ready to rock n roll

If that doesn't work then I'd say your card is faulty.

    Cheers

I've used cheque both with the old NT card and the new global wallet card and it works. Just keep in mind that if CC doesn't cheque will. If your still having issues withdrawing it could be the actual cards magnetic strip that could be damaged.

If that is the case you can try two things:

rub the magnetic strip up and down a few times on a t-shirt.

stick a piece of sticky tape over the magnetic strip (making sure it's stuck down firmly) then use that in the ATM.

Again if all that fails I'd say it's your card that's f#cked & you'll have to get a replacement.

    Cheers

Its too bad that they dont allow Canadians to use that card. My neteller funds show up in the form of a cheque. Neteller is off my list of places to use for now.
