Good story about "predictive markets"

Very interesting read on the predictive market "InTrade" which allows traders to bet on the probability of future events, especially political elections.

Apparently someone just made thousands of dollars in bets on John McCain to win in November, and some people are wondering if the bets were actually designed to have an impact on the election, as an improvement in these markets may be good for the public perception of McCain's chances of being elected
