    Default Google Adwords

Hello to all, i hope weekend was wonderful for you all.

While creating a new page for my site i go to google adwords to check on keyword planner some new keywords which have high monthly searches and low competition and i found some of them, which are actually included in my other existing pages, but i am not sure if i understand correclty.

I must push more using the keywords that have low competition but high monthly searches or i must use keywords with high competition and low monthly searches. Still unclear anyway i am sure all of you have worked with keyword planner and can give an exact idea ( if it is not secret )

Thank you very much for your input.

This subject is massive, so I will just give some starters.

First off - don't believe (totally) what the keyword planner is telling you (especially for Albanian results, but anyone using English results will tell you the same too). The best you can do is use it as a guide.

Remember to choose Albanian language (or searches from within Albania, which of course wouldn't tell you if how many searches are being made from people who have moved country). I'd probably try the search from within Albania first, then change the country back to all and try Albanian language...and see if there is any difference.

If you don't choose either then maybe you will pick up results for other languages where the main keyword (kazino, for example) is also used.

Remember also to choose exact match..or at least do an everything search and then an exact match so you can see if there is any difference.

But given you are targeting Albanian language users and your overall market is relatively small, I personally wouldn't worry too much about what the keyword tool is telling you (except as a guide to help)......you already know what sorts of terms the Albanian searches would search for...they are the same terms you would search for if you wanted to understand, or play, or deposit for casino games.

Having said all that there is another tool that might help, but I need to go off and check it first to see if it returns Albanian results.

...and to talk a little about competition.

Competition in the keyword tool is talking about competition for Adwords, or paid ads....not SEO competition (though the two are linked to a point).

It's a reasonable pointer to the value of any keywords of course (because if someone is paying to get clicks then theoretically they are paying because they make money...there is no guarantee to this though unless you see the same person or persons paying consistently for those keywords).

    But you have to think:

Say a phrase like 'play casino games' shows high number of searches and high adwords competition

A phrase like 'play casino games for money ' gets half the number of searches, and shows low competition.

It does not mean that 'play casino games ' is definitely the term that would make you the most conversions. It could be that no one else has thought of targeting 'play casino games for money'...so you go and target it..you get to number 1, and you find out it makes you a bunch of conversions, more than you would have done by targeting a higher competition phrase.

This is a very simple example...but it starts bringing you into the area of 'long tail searches'....another deep subject for another day!!

I would suggest you to combine two different things. First of all you can check the monthly search volume with your keyword planner but on the other side check manually the serps. This will give you an idea about the competitors for this keyword. Then check the quality of the sites to see if you are able to rank higher. Check their PR and alexa rank and all the well known factors that makes a website a quality site for g.
