This has always been my approach as well. Normally some go up, some go down.

Same here.. so far seeing postive on my main site negative on the others but those are more testing sites that i dont mind if they crash

Remember the old days when an update meant a total change in the serps with the entire top 20 being replaced?

Those days were fun... always waking up the morning after with no idea if you'd be #1 or #100.

For Germany a lot of movement so far. Other languages almost nothing.

Early results for me. One site SERP ranking for money words down about 20% & another site up about the same.

Early days yet but seeing a heavy bias towards operators and media outlets on a lot of searches at present. Not sure that sticks over time but we'll see.

One of my sites (not gambling related) got +350% on views/clicks in Google (medicore competitive keywords, US/AUS regions). I've used only crowd backlinks (not topic-related) + 301 redirects (topic-related).

Since last May core update drops I have done a lot of improvements on my sites and restored traffic by about %60.
Now I have been rolled back again to what happened in May.

I was hit too, both times. I suspect lots of webmasters on this forum were hit hard looking at the results in my area. Obviously we only get the "my sites have gone up" merchants. Like a gambler, they never lose.

What is the cause of your problems do you think? I have a regularly-updated site with original content. One thing I may be doing very wrong is that I am not buying sh1te links. I have taken a look at the sites that rose above me. Some are just bigger and better sites with teams of writers, others are just ok but certainly have collected a ton of low-grade links.

I have one site that has done better in these updates, yet it seems similar in profile to the one that got hit. The only difference is that one faces UK and the other USA. So that has confused me a bit. I wonder if the lack of bought links has caused the issue. The site that has dropped wasn't hammered but just drops below the level where you are likely to get clicks ie: say from position 1 or 2 on google for a keyword to position 9 or 10 (which is worthless). Literally all the money keywords have dropped 9 or 10 places. So google hasn't rubbished the site completely, just made sure it has gone from doing well to doing nothing.

Maybe our sites have similar profiles, if we can see a pattern.
