Seeing some positive movements on sites with 0 backlinks... liking that

I'm seeing mixed results. One of my sites benefited quite nicely with a 25% jump on core keywords. Another is still dancing. Let's wait and see. I'm assuming several spammy ones got hit as it appears this new change is affecting some seed pages and discounting bad links even further.

Seems also like several E-A-T sites bounced back as Google has been pounding them for quite a bit now. I do think that the new core metrics one will hit most of us harder.

I have positive movements in traffic but negative movements in SERP.. and positions. Very strange

I read where it would be a two week rollout so maybe it hasn't hit some sites yet.

Have seen many improvements across the board. Alot of 1st page rankings reappearing after the last core update.

I doubt in any patterns. I suppose the recent update is about content and better understanding of user intent.

I had a big boost and rightly so.. the covid update I didnt know if it was the crisis or google that had taken a chomp at my traffic, now I know it was Google, I think the criris messed a lot of things up and its taken this long to fix it.. Amazon and pintrest dominance been hit

Yes for us the same. In the last 24h was a lot of movement.

I keep getting more boosts, fingers crossed, there were some real junk sites out ranking me since the May update. but all good now.

I have heard that on the whole, this is an even bigger update with more volatility than the previous one. But so far, I haven’t noticed nearly as much movement with my sites overall. One of them which was making a recovery from the previous update took a small drop again, and another has been doing a bit better. But it is too early to draw any conclusions.
