Interesting the twitter post says this

Notice the image they used is in fact a robot getting a flower from a smaller robot.

So the big robot (with google colors on his chest) is ok getting favors from smaller robots (anyone not google). Ok a little bit of a strange analogy but fits the conspiracy theory anyway.

Only time will tell.

Many many seo journals and lands all have articles up about how they know what the update will do and how to recover and no one actually states what the update will do.

As always it is a waiting game for a few days or week to see how things shake up.

The movement seems to have kicked off just before the weekend - looking at our ahrefs dashboard there's a clear point when sites seem to move sharply up/down at the same time.

Generally seems to be the way it goes - ie: by the time they announce it, it's actually already been going on for a few days.

Good point and agreed.

Not seeing anything major *yet* in the US gambling SERPs, just some flux. Though it's interesting that Ahrefs is showing more changes in their reports than I see live yet. Perhaps they're getting served fresher results from a different datacenter?

NB: Using a private window, no G account, in a browser I only use for checking results.

Forums are silent, not seeing any movements out of the ordinary.. no big swings not even on competition sites.. this update definately feels different.

I haven't seen any real change to last month. In fact, conversions were better last month at about this time. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.
