    Default Google ignoring spam report

    Hello,

I have reported spam at google page and although is actually spam, google keeps linking to spam.

Some years ago I realised that when searching in google my brand "jrvm", a lot of results where not related to my sites. Nevertheless, the query was searching for my sites. Someone had realised that my brand was searched for and adopted it.
The traffic I get is steadily decreasing so I studied these sites which use my name. I have found out that there are many many domains positioned indexed by google and positioned for my brand. These sites do not have content, they simply redirect to a bookie. If you check the google cache, you see understable text.
I have reported these domains at google for spam some months ago. And they keep staying there. It is actual spam, but google does nothing.
I have contacted my AM in the bookie to which these sites link, and they have cancelled their account.
Today these pirate sites point to another bookie.

    Why does google do nothing?

cos 99% of penalties are algorithmic, not manual.

    this is an interesting read

"John Mueller responded that the spam report form works, but not always the way you hope it will:

“Reporting them in the… search console, the spam report form, the link spam report form, that’s kind of a good place to go.

That helps us to be better understand that these are pages that we need to review from a manual web spam point of view.”

John Mueller then cautioned against high expectations when reporting spam:

“It’s not really a guarantee that we drop those pages completely.”

Mueller explained why the spam report form does not result in an automatic penalty:

“…when it comes to competitive areas, what we’ll often see is that some sites do some things really well and some sites do some things really bad.

We try to take the overall picture and use that for ranking.”"

    also

"You can also alert us to any issue with Google search by clicking on the “Send feedback” link at the bottom of the search results page, which will trigger this reporting tool:" https://www.blog.google/products/sea...m-report-2017/

    Thanks for your reply.

It seems that google takes into account a spam report only if that benefits google: “It’s not really a guarantee that we drop those pages completely.”
    Try this one:

    www.messi19.es
    www.messi19.es/hello-gpwa-is-cool.html
    www.messi19.es/this-site-is-a-****

There are lots of domains behaving the same way
You can add whatever you want to the domain. The page redirects to a bookie. There is no content. They are cheating google. I tell google, but google does nothing. They stay there in google search results, together with my pages.

Not sure what search terms you are using, but the "jrvm" seems to be too generic of a term

But when searching for jrvm gambling, your GPWA profile comes up as 1st result, and this thread is second.

I am not sure any of the pinterest pages in the first few pages of results are yours, but very few site brands or coming up in my search until more then 3 pages deep.

Yes, my start page comes first but I have more than 30,000 posts and other sites and they do not appear in the results but these spam domains do appear. I do not know if these pirata webs are affecting my sites in google, but I think so.
The point is that any of us must take much care in the way we advertise in google and other social media, because we can be given a penalty, but these networks of spam perfectly organised have grant access to google without being punished, even if it is so obvious as it is.

Well having such a generic brand as jvrm when you are competing with other brands that may use those initials if it matches a brand or product they have, as well as a music rapper will make ranking more difficult.

I have done a number of searches and do not see the pages you show above ranked anywhere in the first 5 pages of results. You are likely seeing more localized results also.

We do not have any information as to who owns the messi19 domain nor the cafecasino domain that messi19 traffic is forwarded to.

As for the redirect, they are using a wildcard redirect that all calls to the domain redirect to the page they define so it can be changed easily. My guess is they have a long list of domains they can use if needed.

The point is that this site and many other domains do not contain any content at all, they redirect directly to a bookie ( the bookie changes depending on the IP of the visitor ) but they are indexed by google despite they have been reported as spam.
For example, in google results, the following text appears:

Haces juega símbolo grandes concursos lunes del casino junio 17 azar. Juego online muestran características juego casa de apuestas con bono sin deposito ...

I am Spanish and this text means nothing. It's just a row of words in Spanish.
    The translation into English is:

You do symbol big contests Monday of the casino June 17 chance. Online game show features game gambling house with no deposit bonus

I have told this behaviour to the bookie to which these spam webs redirect. They told me they would speak to the spam affiliate. They have spoken and the spam affiliate no longer redirects to the bookie, but to a webpage with the banner itself. That is: hidden spam. I imagine that the spam affiliate is powerful and that is why they have not been fired.
I have to say that since I reported this behaviour to the bookie, the posts in my blog do not get indexed by google anymore. I suppose that the spam affiliate has taken SEO action against me.

It takes longer to get posts indexed nowadays.

If you have a lengthy list of domains and specifically report them for cloaking you have a good chance of getting the attention of someone on the spam team. They handle millions of spam reports every year and you have to show them there is egregious violation of their rules.

It looks like you could get the sites taken down if there are enough of them.
