the latter is what bovada has over one year at least

if you are on landing page of bovada for example with F12 you can see both cookies and the "local storage"; and the local storage is now used for affiliate tracking purposes

Do you know if the CommissionKings brands do this? Intertops?

no as far as i know they use cookies for tracking

Probably the most immediate thing that can be done right now, is to use promo code tracking during the sign-up process. This, of course, is not guaranteed to work flawlessly. A misspelled code will ruin tracking. Then again, it should be possible to create links that pre-fill the promo code without requiring any cookie data. Jquery maybe?

Interesting times indeed but seems like there is a few options.

Bonus codes, Postback and etc.

Hopefully operators will start implementing these rather sooner than later.

Preparation is king especially seeing that Firefox and Safari is already on the wagon with this.
