It's time to stand up and be counted. If you reside in the EU and support the right to bet then you should join your peers and sign the right to bet petition online at right2bet.net.

The petition is part of a campaign to further the level of grass-roots support for the right to bet online in the EU.

I encourage every player, every webmaster, every affiliate program, and every operator to support this effort.

When signing the petition you indicate the EU country in which you reside and affirm the following:

I am over 18 and I hereby state my support for right2bet and their aim for all EU citizens to have the right to choose which European online betting provider they use, irrespective of which Member State they operate from.

Thanks for the info. This is a good thing, especially for markets where online betting is illegal (like Hungary). I've posted it on our websites and forums, hopefully we can get a couple of thousand signatures.

There you go. I will be glad to write something about the campaign and post it on my gambling news blog. I believe sooner or later, what we are fighting for will make it real. But then again, we can do it if pro gamblers comes out with a helping hand..
