    Default GPWA approved portal uses nofollow for partner links

    Hello, guys, I've just noticed unethical behavior of a one GPWA approved portal .
    I had a link exchange with him/her in 2007, and I've just noticed that he/her uses rel="nofollow" for all partner links


    And Google now does know about this page, because this page has a rel=nofollow link on his/her homepage.

    It's an unethical behavior of a GPWA member.

    Sorry to hear that. Unless the partner specifically said he was going to add a nofollow to the link, then you are right. It's not ethical to leave link partners in the cold like that.

    Are you sure?? I just checked and the links don't seem to have a no follow?

    The affiliate sites do, but not his link partners. From what i can see anyway.

    noindex,nofollow

    I checked Google for indexed pages - the links pages are NOT indexed.

    I had a duplicate content in Google index with this page but for a mistake I entered "nofollow" & "noindex" in a wrong page!

    It was a redirect! This redirect for some reasons (I dunno why... ) apply the "nofollow" tags to other related pages...
