GPWA Conference 2005: Las Vegas

GPWA will be holding it's annual conference in Las Vegas this year on September 9 and 10 at Harrah's Las Vegas.

We are finalizing plans and will need to know the quantities of food and drink, as well as how many hotel rooms are necessary for the event.

The webmaster public is invited to attend all events, and the only charges are for the hotel rooms which are $89 for Thursday Night and $175 for Friday. Room stays CAN be extended if you wish, through the next Thursday

I just wanted to verify the location of the GPWA conference …

Above you stated Harrah's, the sign-up form inquired as to whether or not I was staying at The Golden Nugget, I have also heard The Flamingo, and today was told Mandalay Bay.

Actually, things were a bit up in the air, trying to co-ordinate this in such a fashion as to cover everyones wants

But, when all is said and done, it will in fact be at the Flamingo. I will fix all places where it is posted, to pretty much read what you'll see here:

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 9, 2005

11:00 - Opening remarks and welcome to everyone
11:30 - 4:00- General session. Basically, consisting of everyone hanging out, networking, etc.
12:00 - the bar will open for drinks until 4:00
4:00 - ???: Lets have a little slots or Video poker tourney. The winner will take home the coveted "GPWA Champion Gambler" trophy. Affiliate Managers can play too.
SATURDAY September 10, 2005

With the exception of any lunches or other meetings you schedule, the entire day is pretty open until 8:00pm
8:00pm - Midnight: Back to the hall for more networking fun and drinks. This time, entertainment will hopefully be added as long as we can find someo
