Lightbulb GPWA Conference at G2E in Las Vegas November 20th

I'm very pleased to announce we will be holding a GPWA conference at the Global Gambling Expo (G2E) on November 20th.

G2E is the largest gambling conference in the world held in the heart of the gambling universe. With many tens of thousands of attendees and nearly 1,000 exhibitors it provides an entirely new view of the gaming industry to attendees.

If your're looking for an excuse to visit Las Vegas, this is it.

Through special arrangements with G2E we can provide free exhibit hall passes to any GPWA member who registers by October 31, 2008.

Just use this special GPWA registration link: www.globalgamingexpo.com/EXT and use Priority Code EXT2.

We will provide detailed session and party information as it is finalized.

Conference sessions will take place from 1-4:30pm on Thursday November 20th.

And Thursday evening we'll be having a party at the top of the stratosphere with breathtaking views of Las Vegas.

    For more information visit GPWAconference.com/LasVegas2008.

Please RSVP on the event page on Facebook to let us know if you will be able to attend.

ooooh, just a couple of days too late, I just registered for G2E on Monday and paid the full fee!

Is it worth registering again under GPWA for any benefits, access to the party etc?

As long as you are registered with G2E you are all set in terms of getting in. We will be doing a separate registration for GPWA members in addition to that just to get a sense of who will be there, and for admission to the party, but right now what is important is to get your G2E pass before the end of the month if you have not already.

We now have the schedule up on the GPWAconference.com website for the sessions and party to be held at G2E in Las Vegas on Thursday November 20th.

There will be four sessions starting at 1pm and ending at 4:30pm in room N111. Then we'll move to the top of the Stratosphere for party time as announced earlier in this thread.

The first session at 1pm will be given by Attorney Martin Owens. Martin is a very well respected iGaming attorney and he will examine court cases and gaming law as it related to affiliates in the United States.

The second session at 1:45pm will be given by Gary Beal, the head of search at Stickyeyes. Gary's sessions are always well received, and I personally think his perspective is valuable enough that we are flying him all the way from the UK to Las Vegas to make his presentation. Gary is going to be presenting some new material he has not presented before about how to target players in Europe. Hear it first at the GPWA conference in Las Vegas.

The third session at 3:00pm will be given by J.Todd and Anthony of APCW fame. They will talk about the steps involved in creating videos and the tips and tricks they have learned about promoting them on the web.

Finally, I will be presenting the fourth session at 3:45pm about marrying iGaming affiliate marketing and social networks. This presentation will provide a behind the scenes look at Casino City's plans in the social networking arena and how those plans can easily be adopted by any iGaming webmaster to increas their traffic and revenue.

For more information visit the GPWA Las Vegas conference page.

To let us know if you will be there RSVP on the GPWA Las Vegas Conference and Party Event Page on facebook.

the three gpwa-hosted sessions on thursday afternoon were all worth the trip to vegas. i'm sure the entire gpwa community will benefit when the videos are posted.

as promised, i am getting all over the facebook 'places i've played' application. michael's presentation about the application convinced me to get it up and running.

thanks for the drinks and appies at the strat, too!
