Hi Ntaus,

We don't (and never did) take US bets.

Virgin being a well known and trusted global brand, we have to play by the rules. If there are no rules, and indications are that grey might turn to black in any specific jurisdiction, we'd rather avoid the storm and wait for blue skies. Clouds were already looming over the US when we started operating in 2004, Michael wouldnt probably contradict me on this one

A bit of a shame for US affiliates, as the brand is widely known in North America, but there was just too much at stake for the brand.

Now for the brighter side:

The Virgin brand is known and trusted in many countries, and that proves an invaluable conversion asset. Add a unique Virgin players loyalty scheme to that and everyone's a winner. Since we decided to step up our affiliate marketing strategy quite recently, there is a great opportunity for affiliates willing to join up at this early stage. Post UIGEA, affiliates and gaming operators alike are trying to diversify their target markets. Virgin already built a name in most of these countries, so now sounds like a good time to benefit from each other's reach.
