I would suggest using NO RIGHT CLICK java scripts or NO COPY ALLOWED scripts on our websites in that way we are going to prevent others from stealing our content. Of course those script are not FOOL-PROOF ,but as a friend of mine told that he is an expert in Security and Serveilance Systems , the best way to protect your shops door from someone breaking in is the Standard locker , that will give enough time to the thief to discourage his self and go away!

    Sorry to hear that.

Our program does not tolerate theft. We have had to disassociate ourselves froma few affiliates who stole content.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

No right click type of scripts do NOT stop very much....

    Bots ignore that.

View source ignores most of the scripts...

Yeah i have copy scape preimium and another one that autochecks your site pages.. but it is very costly but well worth it.

I will get reports when any copied content from my sites gets done.

The main problem i have is they just steal it.... I would not mind if they used part of it or even linked back to me.... to show respect.

But to steal it??? Its gross as i spend good money on buying these, and checking them all the time.

These big time affiliates walk around thinking they can steal and benefit from our sites and nothing happens..

Not to mention the huge amounts of time we spend on our sites, and also the writers as well...

All i can say this guy is a degenerate. Why? Well he has not had the common sense to at least contact me and say sorry.

but its ok,..... Slotocash and Aff Active have both contacted me and are looking after the situation...

I been asked not to disclose how they are looking after it but its being dealt with...

He is an unethical man with no morals plan and simple!!!

Shame on you Alphonso69 you bring great dishonor to our industry.

    Yeah its two affialites...

    1. This alphonso69 guy who makes no apology or has any remorse. He needs to be banned from GPWA as he refuses to contact me to make things right. Furthermore his affilaite earnings confiscated and he be removed from their programs.

    2. This other guy Filip Muzolf who i have tried to contact on face book. I have alerted his Poker Stars AM - their affiliate program. His host. Yet he will not reply either. Waiting on Stars and his host to see what they will do.

Further from that not much more i can do, but dont worry i wont give up. Until they publicly apologize for their unethical behaviour i will continue.

Hopefully GPWA will put a poll in order as they cant honestly allow this to go unoticed... i mean to say he must be banned...

Not to long ago Vegatreasurechest got his Private membership removed for email spam... This is just as bad.

He needs to be removed! Period!!

    Theif that he is

Thank you mate.. Please note the thread regarding treasurechest

    https://www.gpwa.org/forum/should-fr...wa-184349.html

This individual did admit to email spam. He made an error and had to pay the price and have his private membership removed.

I agree he needs some time to make comment. But whether or not he admits to it or not i have proof he stole my content.

Yes he did remove it, i do not deny that.

But he did steal it knowingly and used it to gain benefit with his affiliate programs only days after i put it online.

Gigggles will affirm she wrote it only for me. Please contact giggles for clarification that the document was in fact cut and pasted.

She was the writer and i asked her to check it. She will without a doubt prove he stole it as well.

Based on this, GPWA i understand wants to allow him time to make comment i agree...

Yet this should not stop a poll for expulsion. He did steal it....

It is against policy for webmasters who are private to steal content. It is unethical and GPWA i think will agree they do not allow this.

based on all this i move that he still be banned and his removal of private status be forthcoming as soon as possible.

Failure in this would essentially mean any webmaster can steal content and when they get questioned take it down... NO harm done!!!

    Please set an example GPWA

Edit:: Based on the GPWA Seal requirements:

An investigative team headed by GPWA's Fair Gaming Advocate has determined that this site:
    • Is managed independently of the online gambling websites it provides information about or promotes.
    • Respects and upholds copyright standards.
    • Does not send spam email.
    • Does not use malicious search engine optimization techniques such as posting spam-like comments in forums and interactive blogs.
    • Does not promote or display pornography.
    • Provides consumers with information extending beyond banner advertisements and links.
    • Acts professionally and respectfully in its business activities.

If this is to be used to determine private membership as well he has breached 2 rules.

He clearly does not respect or uphold copyright standards. And secondly he does not act professionally and respectfully in his business practices.

    Whether he comments or not.

    Fact:

    1. He stole my content.
    2. It is not professional to steal other webmasters works and it is a shaddy business practice.

Removal is a requirement here no doubt about it! Failure to do so will set a precedent and allow other private members to steal content without penalty.

If i may ask - If i came to you and said i stole someones article but then took it down is that ok?

Is it ok for someone to commit a crime, admit it, then correct it with no penalty??

    Hi,

I will confirm that I wrote that article for Steve and Steve alone. I write a lot of articles, but even the ones that have the same theme are written separately and with different wording each and every time. There is NO possible way that this man can say he bought this article from anyone, he absolutely "copied and pasted" and I must say he is quite lazy. It was copied word for word, so he has no care about copyright infringement or theft.

    Thanks Giggles..

Its a clear and simple case of a webmaster who steals content.

GPWA must move it to a poll..

We as peers must vote on his removal.. let us decide if he should stay or not.

I feel so strongly about this because its blatant theft..

Although i would always stay a member here and feel like its my home i would be so disappointed as a loyal member to have them not do this.

He does not deserve to be a private member.

Furthermore, i move that Slotocash and Aff Active take a proactive stance as well and possibly expel him from their affilaite program.

If they would not i would lose alot of respect..

    Steve

Tell me something what is unclear about Alphonso69 steals content. The GPWA extends diplomacy, a chance for Alphonso69 to defend himself. I say what? What the heck are you thinking? GFPC had no such courtesy except to have his content ganged ***** by this Alphonso69 ripper.

What vote? What discussion? Proof of unethical, downright violation of everything the GPWA stands for stares you right in the face so letís have Alphonso69 defend himself LMAO.

Tell me Rick or the GPWA for that matter what more proof do you seek?

GFPC upset! IMO more like pissed off. Rally behind him and lend your support instead harboring unethical, immoral, parasitic, jar heads like Alphonso69. Kick him out and do it quickly Alphonso69 has chosen his path.

    Ridiculous!

I agree that everyone should be given a chance to defend themselves.

But in this case, Alphonso69 has had ample time and opportunity to respond. He has been notified of the charges against him by pm and email. He has been logged in here several times since the charges were made public.

I see no need for this to go to a vote.

Alphonso69 has obviously broken the rules, at least two of them! GPWA has ample reason to revoke his membership now.

I understand it's now the weekend so this will probably not happen until Monday but once everyone is back in the office, I hope we see some action.

Please read this statement from Steven once again.

    https://www.gpwa.org/forum/gpwa-memb...tml#post573572

That is the justification for my statement.

Like I have stated elsewhere, I MUST act in the manner in which I do as a long time member of the Security and Membership Team.

Trust me, it is not an easy position at times, and it has CLEARLY made me a less than popular guy around here at times.....

....but I take this position very serious.....

....and trust me I would much rather be working on my own damn sites than spending a bunch of time digging through others content and cross referencing searches with that content and then compiling my findings and forwarding them to the management here....

....but I also ask you guys to understand I would do the same thing for every one of you....

I will take your part 100% on this one mate, we have a say in CYPRUS "The one who stays out of the dancing floor , dances good" and what i have to say by this is that we as just a members of this forum we are writting our critism from a safe site , on the other site RICK needs to do his JOB! So as much as we hate THIEVES , we have to let RICK do what he knows best and that is to be FAIR with everyone of us!
