Default GPWA members- I need your help!

As many of you have seen over the last 4 weeks we have been doing a new series that has been introducing Affiliate Managers to <st1>Affiliates</st1>. We thought this series would give Programs the opportunity to introduce the face behind all those emails, instant messages and phone calls (sometimes). We wanted to ask both serious and fun questions- we wanted to show webmasters the real side of each manager.
    <o></o>
Looking back over the past month, I have been really happy with the results we have been getting. I do however think this project can still evolve to be much more. That is why I am asking for YOUR HELP. If you can either post, or send a PM letting me know your thoughts about the series and what you would like to see added (or deleted). Also, if you have questions you want answered from Managers, let me know what they are. This series is here to help you, and I want to make sure all webmasters are getting the most out of this.
    <o></o>
Thanks everyone- I hope to get some good feeback so we can make this beneficial for <st1>Affiliates</st1> and Programs.

    Hi Matt,

Your request is very generalized and I would like to offer my input but have to request specifics.

IMHO this series could be greatly helped if you were to advise ahead of time who you plan to interview so that we could prepare and post here questions for which we would like to see answers. Then you could select those which seemed to be the most 'burning' issues on a non-personal basis.

I read some of those interviews and remember thinking at the time that, where I had an interest, it would have been nice to be able to have some questions addressed.

Thank you for this opportunity to post feedback.

    Hi Matt,

Great stuff! My foremost thought is that I would like to know what their perdictions are for this industry. Something like.. "where will this industry be in 1 or 2 or 5 years". ..whereas they may have a broader view. It would be interesting to look back too.

    Thanks for asking!

    Thumbs up hi

I honestly haven't been keeping up with the series this last month as I haven't been online much. But, from what I was able to catch, I thought you did a terrific job. It's nice to see the "personal" side of these people!! I wouldn't change a thing.

I would not mind to see some interviews that the GPWA does with some of the affiliate managers... and have them posted in the forum, or maybe make another part of the site dedicted to interviews with the interviews with affiliate managers.....You could even do some audio interviews so everyone would be able to hear the interviews?

    Just a thought....

    Hi,

I think the video interviews while yes .. they'd help give us the better chance to view a face ... and perhaps decide whether it was one to be trusted etc ..

I know for a fact that the written interview is in at least some cases going to be the better choice for at least some of us .... depending on our locations.

If you've ever tried to talk to an aff manager on the phone from another country ...... you've likely run onto the "accent" problem.

I love to listen to many accents but in the same instance .... can seldom understand what is being said word for word. I usually can catch and understand about every 3rd or 4th word.

This is especially true for the fast talkers.

I learned quickly it was better (for me) to correspond by mail than by ear ...so to speak.

    my 2 cents.
Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.

    Default hi

Yes great idea Producerk!! A section maybe entitled "Affiliate Manager Interviews". And I did jump at the idea for audio too, but you got it right bb1web with the accents-every 3rd to 4th word lol.......don't they have a visual pic at the beginning of the interview? perhaps maybe a combination of both video and written, i.e. have the video at top, but the written dialogue below?

I think the aff interviews are great idea. Having some knowledge who you are dealing with is important. I wonder if they would be willing to answer the more sensitive questions. In regards to, spam, late payments, BH seo, etc.. If some feel a bit queezy perhaps give them the questions in advance.

I wouldn't like to see a aff manager put on the hot seat because this would defeat the purpose. But I would like to see some answer these questions while feeling relaxed.

also I do like this idea because this will bring all of us little closer to the people we deal with. Some can't always make it to the yearly round conventions.

    Just my 2 cents
