GPWA Now Offers Automatically Updated Bonus and Promotion Information for Affiliates

We all know that keeping bonus and promotion offers up-to-date on affiliate websites is both important and time consuming. GPWA member Ian Sims (Simmo!) and his friend Andy Parsons recognized this a few years ago and on that basis Andy commissioned Ian to create the affCAFF system (www.affCAFF.com). The affCAFF system allows webmasters to automatically include updated bonus and promotion information on their sites by providing an infrastructure and feeds with that information. A brilliant idea, and one that resulted in the affCAFF system earning the Casinomeister award for Best Affiliate Tool in 2008.

Over the past year Ian and I have explored the potential of the affCAFF system and the challenges it has faced in terms of resources required to properly support the application. As a result of those discussions I'm very pleased to announce today that the GPWA has assumed responsiblity for the affCAFF system. Over the last few weeks we have migrated the application to our servers, and we have also updated the site to reflect current usage trends. But the steps we have taken thusfar are just the tip of the iceberg.

Over the coming weeks and months we will be making a number of major enhancements to the affCAFF system.

1. We will begin a more consistent schedule of regularly updating bonus and promotion information.
2. We will expand the number of affiliate programs and operator sites covered to include all GPWA sponsor programs and all of their associated online gaming properties.
3. We will implement automated monitoring of the locations on gaming websites where promotions are published so that we can insure the promotions in affCAFF are always up-to-date.
4. We will improve the affCAFF interface so that it is much easier for webmasters to incorporate bonus and promotion information from affCAFF on their websites.

One of the important goals of the GPWA is to facilitate affiliates and affiliate programs working together to achieve success. I believe the affCAFF application, as we will evolve it over time, will be an important part of how the GPWA helps to make that happen.
