I'm very pleased to announce that the GPWA passed the 400,000 post mark earlier this month (on October 16th to be precise) and that we passed the 15,000* registered member mark earlier this year! We have quite a crowd here now with many active members from around the world!

I'd like to encourage new members (and old members) to sign up to receive your free copy of the GPWA Times magazine. If you are not currently subscribed, just follow the directions for subscribing in the thread where we announced GPWA Times magazine issue 22.
And if you are a member of facebook, be sure to join us there as well. Just visit the Gambling Portal Webmaster Association facebook fan page and like us there.
And if you are a member of LinkedIn, be sure to join our LinkedIn group with over 2,000 members. Just visit the GPWA group on LinkedIn.
* NOTE: The number of registered members is based on the number of users that have registered on the GPWA vBulletin forum and it includes members that are no longer active. The actual number of current members that receive the weekly GPWA Times e-mail newsletter is nearly 10,000 and the number of active members in the last 90 days was 3,500 (the active member count includes only registered members who logged-in rather than simply visiting the site) .
I provide these qualifications on registered member numbers because the registered member count on forums powered by vBulletin can be quite deceptive. There are, for example, other forums with far fewer real registrants per week that have inflated new signup numbers due to the activity of bots on the sites. It is the story behind the new registrant numbers that actually matters and not the counts themselves. Be careful putting too much stock in the raw vBulletin registrant numbers or you can be misled.
