About LinkBacksI'm very pleased to announce that today's issue of the GPWA Times e-mail newsletter is the 700th! The very first issue of the newsletter was sent out on the 9th of November 2006 and today it is sent out to nearly 14,000 people like clockwork every week.
When we originally began publishing the GPWA Times newsletter our goal was to provide the affiliate marketing community with quality news reporting and to foster the growth of a stronger, more connected, GPWA community. And when I look back at the GPWA then versus now I can say with pride, on behalf of all of us, "We've come a long way, baby!"
In terms of the GPWA Times newsletter, we've published thousands of news stories and well over 300 interviews with affiliates and affiliate managers. We've highlighted what's gone on in the forums, made over 1,200 announcements regarding what's happening at the GPWA, and included a question every week for you to share your thoughts with fellow GPWA members.
Back in November 2006 the GPWA had a total of less than 4,000 forum registrations. Today total forum registrations have passed the 30,000 mark.
A big thanks to everyone who is part of the GPWA for making this possible. Without our affiliate members the GPWA would have no purpose, and without the support of our sponsor affiliate programs we would not be able to serve our affiliate members.
The folks involved in producing the GPWA Times newsletter each week deserve a special thanks. Gary Trask leads the charge in his role as managing editor with the assistance of Daniel Ippolito, and program manager Anthony Telesca covers sponsor news and announcements.
