Thumbs up GPWA Times magazine issue 14 released at the Budapest Affiliate Conference

I'm very pleased to report the fourteenth issue of the GPWA Times Magazine will be available at the Budapest Affiliate Conference that begins tomorrow.

GPWA Times Magazine - Fourteenth Issue Cover

In this issue we turn the spotlight on you - our members. Our cover story celebrates the diligence, imagination, dedication, resilience – and incredible presence of mind even under the most trying circumstances – of GPWA members around the world. This issue celebrates the milestone of our having published interviews with fellow webmasters from a total of 20 different countries. This issue features interviews with ALEX777 of Kyrgyzstan, BillyBoy from Saint Petersburg in Russia, casinogod from Hull in the UK, jschmuch of California and PokerNations who lives in Connecticut bringing our total number of interviews to 59.

Other stories this time around include Vin Narayanan’s look at content and copyright issues; advice from Jeremy Enke on how to increase and retain your poker traffic; Aaron Todd’s visit to the Income Access headquarters, where Nicky Senyard shares with him some of the secrets to their success; a refreshingly candid interview with 7Red Affiliate Manager Michael Gold; and some choice SEO dos and don’ts from Paul (Stickyeyes) Reilly.

For your viewing pleasure, be sure to see and admire the brilliant photos taken by Vin Narayanan and yours truly in Prague during the iGaming Super Show, and Vin’s pictures from the WSOP in Las Vegas. The Departments sections, as usual, are a good read, including another cartoon caption contest and a “Hall of Fame” where the “Wall of Shame” once stood (and may stand again).

Finally, in this issue we mark the untimely passing of two prominent men in our industry – Allan (Captain) Leonard and Lou (Professor) Fabiano. Their contributions to online gaming were substantial and the people they helped in one way or another number in the thousands. They will be truly missed. On behalf of the entire GPWA community, our condolences to their families. Unfortunately, since this issue went to press, tragedy has struck a third time, and so in our next issue will will also be paying tribute to Ted (Spearmaster) Loh.

Of course, if you are not able to pick up a copy in person at the Budapest Affiliate Conference, we would be more than happy to mail you a copy. If you are already registered on the GPWA site, then to subscribe to the GPWA Times Magazine just click on the "Edit My Details" option under the "My Account" menu bar navigation item (you need to be logged in for this option to be available). If you fill in your mailing address information in your profile, we will mail a copy of the magazine to you and we'll also include some prior issues if we have not already sent you them. If you are not already registered on the GPWA website, then just click the "Join GPWA" link above the navigation bar, and follow the "Register Now" link on that page, being sure to provide your mailing address when you register.

Once you enter your mailing address you will automatically receive future issues.

It is a hard-copy magazine, so we physically mail it to members that provide their address as outlined in the initial post. Generally, the maining happens the week after the trade-show where the magazine is initially distributed (we take them directly from the printer to the trade show, but the mailings have to go through the mail house we use to send them overseas or through our internal distribution process for those destined to addresses in the states).

That means copies won't be in folks mail boxes for probably a couple weeks plus a little extra for overseas deliveries.
