GPWA Times Magazine - Third Issue Cover

We've listened to your feedback, and based on popular demand this issue continues our interview series with both GPWA portal webmasters and affiliate program managers. Our affiliate interviews feature GamTrak, maxfalcon, and rob3786. And our affiliate manager interviews include Claire Leighton of AffiliateClub.com, Laura Kirk of BetUS and Wael of Sloto'Cash.

We've also included lots of other great information (the issue is 48 pages long). In our cover story we take a close look at the European Commission's Charlie McCreevy, GPWA's 2007 Newsmaker of the Year. As commissioner for the EC's Internal Market and Services, McCreevy has been fighting tirelessly for the for the online gaming industry's right to access markets - In Europe and in the U.S.

We also follow-up on our last issue's piece dealing with Antigua's David vs. Golliath struggle against the U.S. And we're sure you'll enjoy our article on Everest Affilates and its localization strategy and on Utour Golf and how it is reshaping the skill game market.

Of course, if you are not able to pick up a copy in person at the ICEi or CAP Euro conference in London this week, we would be happy to mail you a copy. If you are already registered on the GPWA site, then to subscribe to the GPWA Times Magazine just click on the "User Control Panel" option under the "Forums" menu bar navigation item. Then from within the control panel, select "Edit Profile." If you fill in your mailing address information in your profile, we will mail a copy of the magazine to you and we'll also include the first and second issues if we have not already sent you them. If you are not already registered on the GPWA website, then just click "Register" on the navigation bar, and follow the "Register Now" link on that page, being sure to provide your mailing address when you register.

Thank you to everyone that is involved with the GPWA Times Magazine. I'm honored to have been asked to do this interview. I really enjoyed reading all of the past interviews because it's nice to get a little history of those that are members here.

Michael, it was very nice to meet you today and thanks for the extra copies of the magazine. I'm getting ready to check it out.

Just follow the instructions in the first post I made in this thread to edit your profile, except instead of adding your mailing address you should just be editing your mailing address to be the new address. It will be next week sometime before we mail the new issues out, so it will go directly to your new address if you update that information now, rather than being forwarded by the postal service.

Well the sneek preview has me intrigued. I can't wait to get a copy! I love the idea of a interview series with the affiliate reps. The magazine looks very professional and impressive! Hope I get to see a copy soon and read it from cover to cover. Seems like there is going to be a ton of valuable information in it.

I just received mine in the mail.

The GPWA Times just keeps getting better with every edition. I really enjoyed it and the new features like the forum excerpts. It was great to read the interviews with members and affiliate managers. We learn alot about our fellow members that we probably wouldn't get a chance to know. For example, I didn't know all of that about you GamTrak! It is interesting how you developed software and progressed with it as an affiliate.

    Well Done Everyone!

    Hi Mojo,

Yep my first true love is database management/development, but this job is way more interesting.

I really enjoyed reading your interview as well. While in London it was really wild to have folks recognize me after reading the magazine and I'm honored that GPWA gave me the opportunity to be interviewed.

I'm looking forward to reading about other members here.

I'm posting here in the hopes that CityGuard will thank me for it.

However, I will also say that while it was an exhausting effort to put together the first issue (moreso for our intrepid editor Vin than for any of the writing staff), it was incredibly rewarding. The GPWA Magazine was one of the many things that made working in the Casino City so much fun.
