I'm very pleased to report the thirtieth issue of the GPWA Times Magazine is now available online and at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) being held this week in Las Vegas. It will also be distributed at the Barcelona Affiliate Conference (BAC), and at the European iGaming Expo (EiG) in Barcelona and the Summit for iGaming in Malta (SiGMA) all taking place later in October. This issue will also be mailed out to our members (together with the previous issue and the iGaming Pocket directory), so please be sure to provide us with your mailing address if you would like a hard copy (see details below to make sure we mail you a copy).
In this issue's cover story, Blueclaw's Joel Turner explains how Version 5.0 of Google's Search Quality Rating Guidelines gives us an idea as to what the search giant will be looking for from sites.
Also in this issue, Oliver Pemberton of bet365 discusses ways webmasters can use social media to drive traffic to their sites. Alan Petrilli of Income Access points out the monetizing for affiliates as real-money iGaming begins to emerge in the U.S. states. Vin Narayanan interviews top execs from Optimal Payments (NETeller), Skrill and InComm to see what they're doing to stabilize and streamline payment processing for online gamblers. Vin also interviews attorney Martin Owens about the new real-money online poker room being launched in California. And Dan Podheiser shows how online poker players are leading the way into the fast-growing frontier of daily fantasy sports.
This issue features six great affiliate interviews from the four corners of the earth (where did that expression come from anyway - someone from the flat earth society?). The interviewees are: AndyBonus of England, now living in Thailand, Gambling Joe from the Isle of Wight, now living in England, MMmikeP of Ireland, ocreaditor of Tel Aviv, scandinaviangaming from Uruguay, and Slottero of Berlin. we also have two affiliate manager interviews: Faizel Abdool of Lotus Affiliates and Slava Sushko of Gambling Attack.
Inside you'll also find notable news and quotes, an event calendar, and this issue's new induction into APCW Wall of Shame.
